For the Sake of Fulfilling the Whims of the Investors at the Expense of People's Health
The Government Does Not Care about the Death of Women
(Translated)

It was revealed by staff working in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Khartoum Educational Hospital the death of two pregnant women suffering from high blood pressure and its complications which lead to Klebsiella, after hospitalizing them to the Department, and they explained that the hospital transferred both patients to two other hospitals due to the closure of the section and ceasing to function, which resulted in the death of both women before reaching the hospitals. A number of workers told the newspaper that the closure of the section resulted in three women giving birth in the hospital's ward. There were conflicting reports about the reasons for the closure of the section since the sixth of March, while it was reported by the Director-General of the hospital that the tests proved the existence of bacterial contamination in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Subsidiary Body of the hospital pointed out to the workers of the Khartoum Hospital that the Director himself swore that he did not provide any such statement, confirming the safety of the tests of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and that it is free of any bacteria (Al-Yawm At-Tali Newspaper 17/3/2014).

We in the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan - Women Section outline the following:

Firstly: The Government practices lying in broad daylight for the sake of defending the Central Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology even if this led to women dying at the Hospital's doorsteps, to achieve that inhumane goal of converting the remainder of the Khartoum Hospital to the outskirts of the Capital in which its hospitals suffer from acute shortage of services and staff, as well as anything needed for hospitalization; as their distances are very far away from women, taking the presence of bacteria made up by Officials who are unable to look after the affairs of the people, as an absurd pretext which will be recorded in their bleak history which is filled with selfishness and narcissism.

Secondly: The Government is lost in its aberrance without caring about what is happening to the women, even if they die because of the closure of the hospital which they are insisting on closing in their faces while they are imploring, suffering labor pain, so what kind of humans are those whom the souls of mothers and children have become so cheap?! And for the sake of what are they executing orders that are totally inhumane! They are the ones who made a solemn covenant and threw it behind their backs, purchasing for it a miserable profit while being unconcerned for the saying of the Prophet (saw),

«الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمْ الرَّحْمَنُ»

"The Merciful One shows mercy to those who are themselves merciful (to others)". (Narrated by Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi)

Thirdly: A Government which kills women in cold blood and feels no shame before Allah (swt) Who authorized it to care for them is the first failure, because the Ruling which is tainted with the pure blood of mothers is without doubt evanescent in this life, and in the Hereafter, Allah (swt) will be accounting it for losing the trust. These are the corrupt Muslim rulers; the killers of women and children! Allah (swt) said,

(وَإِذَا تَوَلَّى سَعَى فِي الأَرْضِ لِيُفْسِدَ فِيِهَا وَيُهْلِكَ الْحَرْثَ وَالنَّسْلَ وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الفَسَادَ * وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ اتَّقِ اللّهَ أَخَذَتْهُ الْعِزَّةُ بِالإِثْمِ فَحَسْبُهُ جَهَنَّمُ وَلَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ)

"When he turns his back, His aim everywhere is to spread mischief through the earth and destroy crops and cattle. But Allah loveth not mischief * When it is said to him, "Fear Allah.", He is led by arrogance to (more) crime. Enough for him is Hell; An evil bed indeed (To lie on)!" [TMQ 2:205-206]

Forthly: Protecting the health of the citizens and protecting them from diseases remains an obligation in the neck of the Government, because it is part of looking after the affairs of the people which is an obligation ordered by Allah (swt) to the State, and He (swt) promised it a severe punishment if it neglected it, and indeed, is there more damage than that of giving birth in the courtyard of the hospital in front of passers-by then sadly dying!! The Government's only job has become protecting the freedoms of thieves, the proprietors of money, in looting the sick patients and people with special needs, as well as exploiting them as they exploited anything that their sinful hands could reach.

Fifthly: This state of crisis is a natural product of the injustice of the Capitalist System which the Government implements and their blatant exclusion of the legislations of Islam led to the appearance of corruption in all aspects of health care through the system of health insurance and its companies, and the pharmaceutical companies which are exploited for doctors and patients, as well as the patent which raised drug prices causing an increase in diseases, and their main value is for money, not for the survival of human nor for the life of the weak, and there is no place for looking after the affairs.

The Khulafa' in the Khilafah "Caliphate" State's era implemented the Rulings (Ahkam) related to health care in a way that we today miss, despite the material progress and scientific development that the world has reached, the Westerners themselves were a witness to this, Monsieur Jomar, a Scientist in the Napoleon Campaign, wrote a description of one of the hospitals built six decades ago as part of his campaign on Eygpt: "All patients entered the Hospital, rich and poor, without discrimination, and doctors were brought from different parts of the East, extending the bestowal to them, and there was for the hospital a cabinet for medicines and drinks and a Pharmacy equipped with Medicines and tools. It was said that the expense for every patient was one Dinar, and had two people serving him, and for every patient, 5 gold coins were given while leaving the Hospital so that he does not resort to hard work immediately".

Today, after the collapse of Capitalism economically, and previously, its collapse intellectually and morally, we foresee the return of the upcoming era of the Second Righteous Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of Prophethood by the will of Allah (swt), with a great promise of goodness for all mankind. We sense through it the greatness of the role and responsibility of its Guardian, in maintaining the health of his citizens and looking after their affairs with what repairs them and removes damage away from them, until one of them said: "If a baby goat (kid) dies on the shore of the Euphrates while it was lost, I would be afraid of being asked about it (by Allah swt)", this was reported by Ibn ‘Asaker in the history of Damascus and by Al-Bayhaqi in Sha'ab al-Imaan regarding Omar (RadhiaAllahi ‘Anhu).
