Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, City of Gadarif Presents Its View on the Agricultural Policy under the Righteous Khilafah State

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan held a political symposium on Saturday 31 January 2015 in the Farmers Union Hall in the city of Gadarif, titled: "Agriculture Between the Injustice of Tax and the Duty of Care", in the presence of a large number of specialists from the Farmers Union of Gadarif, the Ministry of Agriculture, Professors of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Gadarif, institutions of agricultural finance, and a large audience of interested people, as well as the media, where there was considerable participations and major interaction, and the takbeers were shouted from the throats of the Ummah looking forward to the return of Islam to being alive in its life's affairs. Delegates from the Al-Mustaqella, Al-Jareeda and Al-Intibaha Newspapers participated in this symposium, as well as the delegate of the Radio of Gadarif State, and others from subject matters and interests, and some respected audience, all participated with questions and contributions.

Three papers were presented at the symposium as follows:

The first paper entitled: "Agriculture is a Precious Wealth" presented by Mr. Mohammed Hassan - a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, in which he spoke about the importance of agriculture and its role in achieving agricultural revitalization, mentioning the identification of the enormous agricultural wealth enjoyed by Sudan.

The second paper entitled: "Agricultural Policies; Insistence on Repeating Failure", presented by the agricultural engineer  Bashir Ahmed - member of the Wilayah Council in the Hizb, in which he indicated the amount of levies of duties and taxes that the government takes on agriculture, which have burdened farms and agriculture. He also indicated the reality behind the agricultural policies in light of this government and its repeated failure, because it is built on a thought that views the farmer and his cultivation as an object of collection and extortion, thus stealing his toil, and then leaving him as an easy prey for riba-based banks hackers.

Then the third paper was presented entitled: "Agricultural Policy in Light of the Righteous Khilafah "Caliphate" State" in which the Engineer Mohamed Hashim - Assistant Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah of Sudan, addressed how to build agricultural policies on the proper pastoral outlook; on the basis of the doctrine of the Ummah; the great Islam. It also explained how the Righteous Khilafah "Caliphate" State on the method of Prophethood; which will soon return by the will of Allah (swt), how it will deal with this great wealth, achieving food security for its citizens, and carrying its goodness to humanity, so it becomes the State of leadership and prestige in the world.
