The Qur’an is Stronger than Wilders, his Party and those Wrapped in their Wrapping
(Translated)

The Party (for Freedom) PVV led by Geert Wilders has published a document including its election manifesto for the 2017-2021 term. The document announced its intention to prevent the acceptance of refugees from Islamic countries, to ban the Khimar (headscarf) in civil service, ban all Islamic symbols contrary to the public system, have preventative detention of radical Muslims, closing of all Masajid and Islamic schools, and the banning of the Qur’an.

Yes, this indeed is the programme of the Dutch Party for Freedom which is currently in first place in the opinion polls for the legislative elections to be held in March 2017. Here it is stating with all insolence its hostility towards Islam and the Muslims, and declares explicitly with complete clarity that they want to ban the Qur’an, lock the Masajid and ban Islamic symbols. In other words, it is declaring its war against Islam and its preparedness to imprison Muslims who hold onto their Deen, identity and Aqeedah (belief) under the pretext of combatting radicalism.

This manifesto document is a political and civilizational exposure in the complete meaning of the word. And so the country that claims it is a land of tolerance and plurality, a land of freedoms and respect of religions and cultures, produces a political party that is drawing in the masses through criminalising the minority, inciting hatred and hostility explicitly and directly, threatening that minority with imprisonment and preventing them from practise the rules of their religion. 

These repressive viewpoints, plans and practises remind us of the colonial history that the Muslims lived through in which they were governed by fire and iron. Despite that they did not abandon their Deen, so take heed of the history if you are people who think.

History informs us that French colonialism, in the days of the Algerian occupation, undertook a practical experiment to eliminate the Qur’an from the breasts of the Algerian youth. So they selected ten Algerian Muslim girls, the French government enrolled them in French schools, dressed them in French clothing, taught them the French culture and the French language, so that they became exactly like French girls. Then after 11 years of efforts, they prepared a major graduation ceremony for them and they invited ministers, thinkers and journalists… Then when the party began everyone was surprised by the Algerian girls entering with their Islamic Algerian clothing… The French media then erupted asking themselves: What has France achieved in Algeria then after the passing of 128 years!? Robert Lacoste, the minister of French colonies answered them at that time saying: “And what am I meant to do if the Qur’an is stronger than France?!” And today we say: The Qur’an is stronger than Wilders, his party and those who wrap themselves in their wrapping. Allah Ta’Aalaa said:

[وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٍ يَنقَلِبُونَ]

“And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned” [Ash-Shu’ara: 227].
