A Disclaimer and Sincere Call for the Media and Journalists to Address the Entire File
And Not To Be Dragged Behind Known Political Views who Depend on Distortion and Hide Behind the Journalist Card

Following the press release that we issued on 30/8/2016 and despite an official clarification issued by the party on its adopted official webpage on the same day, a campaign held by the visual, audio and written media outlets continues, as they analyze and interpret: some of them being disinterested, others are observers without evidence, and who contacted us and sought clarification.

What is strange is that this campaign came after a suspicious silence of numerous media outlets regarding the serious abuses by people in power against Hizb ut Tahrir in Tunisia: a governor disregards the administrative court's decision and obstructs the annual conference of the party, and by forcing the security agents to tear the banner at its headquarters, and sending hired gangs to disrupt the events... and other acts that are shameful and that are rejected by the political norm, and where is this happening?! In Tunisia, the peak of the revolution of the Ummah and the trembler of the thrones of dictatorships!!...

Therefore, so long as the media can now "see", “hear” and “talk”, we in this media campaign, appreciate the following stances:

• The numerous media outlets and journalists who have contacted us to take information and seek clarifications from their original source...

• Officials, politicians, human right activists, and lawyers whose positions were marked with sobriety and poise, without intended interpretation/manipulation, and requested clarification that is befitting to the Party in its reality and political stature...

We are also surprised by some stances:

• Those who conveyed news from elsewhere in search of increasing the number of followers, knowing that the public opinion is always interested in the Party’s matters...

• Those who interpreted the speech and twisted it, despite the clarity of its context regarding the need for the state to have mercy on the people and the need for it to respond to those who abuse the security of the country and its people

- with proven conviction - and despite the clarity of the method of the Party's work, which has become a known political necessity ...

In any case, the party is well-known and not anonymous, and it did not get involved in the past in the “Boots of Darkness” events or any acts of violence, nor was it part of the talk on “Molotov cocktails” thrown from the headquarters, and it never claimed to have an emissary "of divine providence" ... It is an older party that works with thoughts and politics, without exceeding that at all, on ideological basis not circumstantial, and politicians, journalists, security, judges and the people of the law know this very well.

Thus, for those who are interested in serious intellectual and media communication and are truly seeking the truth for the sake of the country and its people, and to fathom the project of the Party as one that is working in politics and aims at ruling and taking power through the Ummah, then all they have to do is take the entire file and communicate with the media representatives of the Party and its officials. As for those who want other than this, then they just need to be committed to media professionalism above all else and to ensure the right of response to say the least so as not to lose the remainder of their credibility!

We reassure the public opinion that the Party will respond with every intellectual and political ways to every person who seeks to interpret as he likes.

“O you who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest you harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what you have done.” [TMQ 49:6]
