Authorities in Tunisia Arrest one of Shabab Hizb ut Tahrir for Advocating Mobilization of Armies in Support of Gaza!

A security entity in the capital today, Friday, January 5, 2024, arrested the young man Mohammed Amin, following the march organized by Hizb ut Tahrir from Al-Fath Mosque towards the Municipal Theater in the capital, under the title: "We are not a people sympathizing with a people, but we are one Ummah."

In the face of this unjust arrest, the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Tunisia clarifies the following:

1. This arrest comes in the wake of repeated arrests, and these arrests are nothing but an example of the authorities' continuation of the same policy as the previous rulers in tightening, fabricating charges, and seeking to silence the call of duty dictated by Shar’iah to fight the Jews and support the Muslims who are being exterminated in full view and hearing of the world. Not to mention the hypocritical Muslim rulers. Has it become a reason for the regime to arrest the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir who have not hesitated to address the powerful with the language of Islam?

The authorities in Tunisia claim to stand with the people of Gaza, but they do not stop arresting the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, whose voices are raised with the truth; they call on the armies to move to stop the bloodshed in Palestine!

2. The regime in Tunisia, through these repeated arrests of the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, seeks to silence the call to mobilize the armies and hinder the idea of supporting the oppressed through the people of strength, knowing that this call will lead to the movement of the Ummah towards the true and legitimate solution to support Palestine.

3. These unjust arrests will not deter Hizb ut Tahrir from adhering to the truth, and it will not weaken the resolve of the advocates of the call; it will only increase them in determination and confidence in Allah Almighty, and steadfastness on the path of truth. It will only increase them in certainty of Allah's victory for His believing servants, even if after a while.
