The Arrest of Two Members of Hizb ut Tahrir for Distributing a Leaflet
(Translated)

On the evening of Tuesday, 25/3/2014, security forces arrested Samir Al-Gharbi and Abdel Raouf Al-Hirbawi, two of the members of Hizb ut Tahrir from Al-Jumhuriyah neighborhood- Alminehlah, while distributing the Hizb's leaflet entitled "The Interim Government Obeys the Colonialist and Secures its Interests and Intimidates and Impoverish the Muslims," a leaflet that was aimed to expose the government's policy which was added without the knowledge of people in the name of reconciliation.

We in Hizb ut Tahrir confirm that this arrest was only due to the distribution of the leaflet.

It seems that the presentation of Hizb ut Tahrir on the subject of looted wealth have upset some parties; so they fabricated this arrest using it to mislead and black-out this sensitive context which Hizb ut Tahrir honours to lead the people in this issue.

How many evil governments will come and go that do not understand politics to be but the service of the colonialist and is repressive of Muslims and pushing them away from their Deen?
