Have the Cries for Help from the Syrian and Iraqi People Not Reached your Ears
(Translated)

President Erdogan responded to the questions of journalists on board the plane whilst returning from his visit to Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Senegal. So he said as a comment to the Russian statement about “Turkish preparations to intervene in Syria”: “And what are you doing in Syria? You are nothing but an occupying power, a state that instigates terrorism and mobilises alongside the killer of 400 thousand people. And you continue to kill civilians”. Erdogan also reacted to Mack Gork, Obama’s representative, heading to Kobani and said: “How is it possible for me to trust the one who is your partner, me or the terrorists in Kobani?” And he expressed the position of Turkey in respect to the subject of Syria with the following statements: “We don’t want to fall into the same mistake that we fell into in Iraq. I had been beside the March 1^st licence [The permission of the Parliament for the Turkish army to participate in war]. Iraq would have not been like this situation it is in had Turkey been present in Iraq with its army under the March 1^st licence. It could have been possible for Turkey to have been upon the table [discussions about Iraq’s future]. And Bush had been imploring me to do that in his telephone conversations with me at that time. However, we stayed face to face with the errors of our friends”.

We in Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Turkey share our statement with the public opinion in respect to these deplorable statements:

1 – Russia is a state that carries a fierce animosity towards Islam and the Muslims. And Russia being a terrorist state is not a new matter as they have instigated terrorism before in Afghanistan and Chechnya which they are doing today in Syria. And Turkey is not oblivious of what Russia has been doing in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Crimea. It is a duty upon Erdogan, who only recently took part alongside Putin in the opening of a Masjid in Moscow, if he is sincere and truthful [in his stance] to make his response to the Russian terrorism something that stands up to it in like. And it is a duty upon, if he is sincere and truthful, to describe the United States that uses Russia in its wars by delegation on its behalf, as a terrorist state and that Obama is a terrorist. That is because it was America who called Russia in to intervene in Syria whilst it is the American coalition that kills the Muslims in Syria.

2 – Erdogan must confirm his sincerity to the Muslims in his actions and not his statements. Sincerity to the Muslims dictates animosity towards America and not friendship. How can Muslims have friends from those who are friendly to the Baathist party and the United Democratic Party. It is a degradation and lack of sincerity to have trust or confidence in America and to participating alongside it whilst at the same time displaying friendship to the Muslims and sincerity towards them at the same time.

3 -  Erdogan by his statement: “We don’t want to fall into the same mistake that we fell into in Iraq” has given the green light for Turkey’s preparation to participate in a ground mobilisation with the international coalition in Syria under the cover of fighting the ISIS militia organisation. Erdogan has made these statements following his announcement of the possibility of sending the army to Syria if the Geneva 3 conference is delayed and after Saudi accepted the international coalition. And related to the subject area the American Secretary of Defence Ashton Carter said: “I am awaiting impatiently to discussion this proposal with the Saudi foreign minister in Brussels”. This statement makes the following evident: Whilst America is striving to prepare the conditions for the founding of an agent secular democratic state tied to it by the navel from one side, on another side it is striving to direct the regional states with their armies towards Syria to engage in wars on its behalf. Through that it aims at laying siege to Syria from its East to its West and its North to its South through the formation of an artificial alliance between Russia, Iran, Saud, Turkey and the Gulf states.

And now we ask the President of the Republic Erdogan: Will you enter the Turkish army into Syria for the sake of helping the Muslims or for the sake of participating with America and the forces that have allied with it in killing the Muslims in the name of combatting terrorism? Will the Turkish army enter Syria for the interests of Islam and the interests of the Muslims or for the American interests? And we ask Erdogan who desired yesterday to enter Iraq by the imploring of Bush and who wants to enter Syria now, we ask him: By Allah, have the voices of the women of Syria, its children and elderly, calling for help and assistance not reached your ears? Why have you not heard the cries that are being raised high in Aleppo, Idlib, Shaam and the Turkman mountains? Fear Allah and abandon the defence of the American disbeliever’s interests. Standing in the face of the oppression dictates being an enemy to its friends and the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:

«إِنَّ النَّاسَ إِذَا رَأَوْا ظَالِمًا، فَلَمْ يَأْخُذُوا عَلَى يَدَيْهِ أَوْشَكَ أَنْ ‏يَعُمَّهُمُ اللَّهُ بِعِقَابٍ مِنْهُ»

“Verily, the people, if they see a Zhaalim (oppressor) and then do not take him to task then Allah will be about to encompass them with a punishment from him.” (At-Tirmidhi)
