The Oppression in Arakan will not End through Honoring the Oppressor but through Caring for the Oppressed!
(Translated)

 The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) took place in Astana, the capital city of Kazakhsatan, on September 10-11, 2017. It was reported that the summit was attended by almost 70 delegations from 57 countries. Term-chairman of the summit, President Erdogan delivered a speech and stated the following related to Arakan: "We should join forces to put an end to the cruelty and brutality against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. We want to cooperate with the governments of Myanmar and Bangladesh in order to end the ongoing humanitarian tragedy in the region. We have communicated our offer of aid to the Bangladeshi authorities and have expressed our expectations for the necessary facilitation to be provided to Muslims fleeing repression and murder. International organizations, and we as Muslim countries in particular, should join forces and use every means available to stop this cruelty."

On the one side there are the homeless, helpless, heavyhearted neglected Muslims of Arakan; and on the other side there are the coward leaders of 57 Muslim countries idly sitting in their seats, while possessing vast territories, sensitive people, powerful armies and rich energy sources. Arakan is bleeding for years and not today. The Myanmar government has been killing the Muslims of Arakan for years. For years now, we - Hizb ut Tahrir in particular and the Muslims in general - call the leaders who keep silent over the oppression in Arakan to action, in the hope that there emerges a decent man among them to end this oppression. But to no avail! As usual, they first make statements of condemnation, then - like knocking the ball out of bounds - they abdicate responsibility to the UN, and eventually boast with providing the Muslims of Arakan with food aid for which they additionally ask permission from the oppressors.

Neither the puppet and coward leaders gathering in Astana; nor the OIC, which until today never ever provided remedy for any sorrow nor ointment for a single wound of the Muslims; or President Erdogan in his capacity as chairman calling for unity at the summit in Astana; did take any actual step towards ending the oppression in Arakan. So where are you, the Saudi army which bought billions of dollars worth weapons from the USA; and Pakistan, the owner of nuclear weapons? On whose side are you Iran, when appearing Buddhist friendly? What is the "Islamic Army", which you parade, good for? Is a meager reprimand the only sanction that this "huge" Organisation of Islamic Cooperation consisting of 57 member states, can do? Shame on you! Your condition demonstrates that you and your so-called organisation exists solely for the benefit of the USA and the West.

O Muslims! This grave situation reveals the forlornness of the entire Ummah and not only of the Muslims of Arakan. Look at Aleppo, at Idlib, and look at Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem... These regimes have pushed them all into desperation. Are you responsible for this situation? No! On the contrary; you have raised and continue to raise your voices more than enough not only for Arakan, but for Aleppo, Jerusalem and other Muslim lands. You have sent and still continue to send your aids. The true responsibility lies with the governments and leaders. This is because being a powerful state and powerful leader is not just condemning and distributing food aid, but teaching the oppressors their place. The Ummah awaits an actual step now. For the oppression in Arakan will not end through honoring the oppressor but through caring for the oppressed.
