The G20 Promises Peace and Tranquillity, While Occupation and Chaos Prevail
(Translated)

The eighteenth summit of the G20 leaders, hosted by India under the theme "One World, One Family, One Future," has concluded. President Erdogan represented Türkiye at the summit, which includes 19 countries representing the world's largest economies, including the United States, China, and the European Union.

In the final statement of the summit, it was emphasized that all countries must act in accordance with the principles and goals of the United Nations Charter regarding the Ukrainian conflict. The statement strongly underscored the inadmissibility of using nuclear weapons or threatening their use, highlighting the crucial importance of efforts to resolve conflicts and crises through dialogue and diplomacy.

The statement also mentioned the need for $4 trillion in annual clean energy investments to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

The G20 is an international forum formed to ensure that the global interests of capitalist colonial powers, especially America, are not hindered and to promote these interests through institutions and organizations shared among nations. America, which uses the United Nations as a means of political sanctions, also employs the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the World Trade Organization in the economic realm. Having solidified its absolute economic and political sovereignty within the G8, America transitioned from a unipolar world to a multipolar global strategy by granting credit to developing nations and ensuring the establishment of the G20 by including the countries that fight on its behalf. Under the theme "One World, One Family, One Future," which serves as the main topic for the 18th G20 summit being held this year, the "One World" signifies a world that is subject only to American hegemony. The "One Family" is the family promoted by the West, where parents are restricted, leaving children defenseless against deviance and the lies of freedom. The "One Future" is a future dominated by capitalism, where the wealthy get richer, the poor get poorer, millions continue to die of hunger, and income distribution injustice worsens day by day.

While the G20 countries make promises of peace to the world, harmony for humanity, and hope for the future during such summits, in reality, they bring nothing but occupation, crises, poverty, and destruction. The inclusion of the African Union in the G20 this year will not lead to the upliftment and progress of African peoples who are dying of hunger, unable to access clean drinking water, lacking sufficient education, and living in dire humanitarian conditions. This is why the speeches presented at the G20 are nothing more than lies and deception, much like the speeches of colonizers.

While all these facts are clear, Erdogan stated in the press conference after the summit that they, meaning Turkey, bear the responsibility for vital issues concerning the common future of the world and humanity. However, the issues discussed and decisions made in the G20 do not relate to the common future of humanity but rather the future of capitalism, led by America. If the G20 countries and their leaders were standing for justice, they would not have considered Sisi, the leader of the bloody coup, legitimate. If they were for humanity, they would have imposed the convention to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women, the Istanbul Convention, and the Paris Climate Agreement on the world. If they were thinking about the world's future, they would move away from democracy and secularism, and abandon capitalism, which makes the earth unfit for habitation, and stop corrupting the harvest and progeny, as Allah, the Almighty, said about them:

[وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لاَ تُفْسِدُواْ فِي الأَرْضِ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ * أَلا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَكِن لاَّ يَشْعُرُونَ]

“And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers." * Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.” [Al-Baqara:11-12].

The only salvation for the Muslim people in Türkiye is to not be part of the G20 or join the G8. The path to progress and upliftment doesn't involve orbiting around America or waiting at the door of the European Union. Rather, the only salvation for the Muslim people in Türkiye, the Islamic Ummah, and the world at large is the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate). It uplifts humanity, builds the earth, ensures peace and security, enforces justice, and, most importantly, governs by Islam. So, Muslims, work towards the reestablishment of the Khilafah Rashidah on the method of Prophethood and joining Hizb ut Tahrir on this path.
