Press Release
Those Who Left Gaza to Die Cannot Stand Against the Occupation
(Translated)

After 12 years, President Erdogan made an official visit to Egypt and met the Egyptian President Sisi. The two leaders signed the joint statement regarding the restructuring of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council meetings. In his speech at the joint press conference held after the meetings between the two delegations, President Erdogan made the following statements: “We don’t want to see any conflicts, tensions or crises in Africa, the Middle East or elsewhere in our kindred geography. Accordingly, we are determined to step up our talks with Egypt at all levels in order to establish peace and stability in our region.” The president said in his speech that they “will continue to cooperate and stand in solidarity with our Egyptian brothers and sisters to put an end to the bloodshed in Gaza.” Adding that, “The depopulation of Gaza is totally unacceptable. We welcome and support Egypt’s determined stance on this issue. The Netanyahu administration must refrain from expanding its massacres to Rafah.” In his speech to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations Security Council, Erdogan said that they “shouldn’t allow such a madness which would result in genocide.”

President Erdogan's visit to Egypt and his meeting with Sisi indicate that he accepts the bloody military coup of 2013 and Sisi's management of the coup as legitimate. At the same time, this situation reveals that Erdogan does not believe in the democracy he always talks about, and that he ignores the will of the people who he is supposed to value very much. This visit is considered a betrayal of the Muslims who were killed in Nahda and Rabaa Squares and the blood spilled. Also, Erdogan, who shed tears on television yesterday for the Muslims who were killed by the coup plotters, today described Al-Sisi, the killer of Asmaa El-Beltagy, as his brother! Erdogan, who said that he would never sit at the same table with Sisi, who sentenced Mohamed Morsi and his friends to prison, lied to himself again and deceived Muslims by saying that he made this visit for the sake of peace and stability in the Middle East!

This visit, which came within the framework of normalization, was not in the interest of Turkey, Egypt, or the Palestinian people, but rather in the interest of the United States in particular. Because the two leaders once again affirmed that they will work for American interests in the region through the restructured High Level Strategic Cooperation Council meetings. Likewise, the leaders who sent messages that they would continue cooperation and solidarity to stop the bloodshed in Palestine did not hide their shame on the day of the bombing of hospitals carried out by the usurping Jewish entity, which left no stone unturned in Gaza and killed nearly 30,000 Muslims. Appreciating the work and efforts of Sisi, who kept the Rafah border closed for several months and condemned the people of Gaza to hunger and poverty, is nothing but sadness and oppression for the Palestinian people and all Muslims. Erdogan once again demonstrated his impotence by requesting help from the United Nations Security Council to stop the war in Gaza, and showed that the phrase “the world is bigger than five” is just empty rhetoric.

O Muslims! Egypt and Turkey are two countries that work for America's regional interests and are loyal to them. For this reason, President Erdogan's visit to Egypt and his meeting with coup leader Sisi is not for the interests of Gaza nor the Palestinian people, but rather for the sake of protecting and preserving the interests of the United States. As these two countries are impatiently awaiting the end of the Gaza war in order to normalize relations with the occupying Jewish entity. For this reason, they hold Netanyahu alone, and not the Jewish entity, responsible for the massacre and genocide that has been ongoing for 130 days. They also continue to repeat the "two-state solution plan" that the United States made them memorize. Those who left Gaza to die cannot stand against the occupation, so do not be fooled by their lies and do not fall into their trap. Allah (swt) said:

[أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَكِنْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ]

“Indeed, it is they who are the corruptors, but they fail to perceive it.” [Al-Baqara 2:12].
