End of the First Stage of the Campaign
"Say STOP to the Judicial Persecutions against Hizb ut Tahrir"

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey announces to the general public of the end of the first stage of the campaign which it launched on September 18, 2014 titled "Say STOP to the Judicial Persecutions against Hizb ut Tahrir" and that on September 30, 2014. During this campaign, a series of intended visits were conducted to media representatives, jurists, political parties, and at its forefront the civil society's institutions, social network activists, and press conferences. Many jurists and representatives of the civil society's institutions participated in the press conference held by the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey in Ak Goun Hotel in Istanbul, and it was conducted to present the first support for the campaign.

In addition to that, members of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey, the Central Communication Committee, and the local communication committees conducted visits to hundreds of people and institutions starting from the Constitutional Court to the Ministry of Justice, from the Federation of the Lawyers' Union to the Head of the Justice Senate, from the Congress of the Parliament to the public centers of the political parties, from journalists to television channels, and from civil society's institutions to representatives of businessmen, occurring between 18 and 30 September. During these visits, 433 people and various institutions; including 80 political institutions, 175 institutions from the civil society's institutions, 95 media agencies, 51 representatives of the judiciary and rights activists, and 32 institutions from the government institutions; were provided with information about the campaign and were given a rights file which was prepared.

Once again during this period, around 195 thousand people visited the Facebook page named "Say STOP to the Judicial Persecutions against Hizb ut Tahrir" which was set up in order to introduce the campaign. Hundreds of people sent pictures and video messages to this page in order to support the campaign and to express the injustice that they are being exposed to. Also, support and endorsement letters were sent to the campaign from outside the country such as Indonesia, Afghanistan, Russia, Crimea, Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Palestine, Denmark, Holland and many other countries. These countries all demanded the end of the unjust illegal trials committed against the members of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey. On the 20^th of September 2014, the Twitter index of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey and its campaign ranked in first place in the Turkish agenda, and second place in the world's agenda. In this open account on Twitter, 44,341 tweets were sent, and support and endorsement letters were published from various sections.

In this first stage of the campaign, and as we are an Islamic party which practices its activities in all corners of the globe for the sake of re-establishing a Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah based on the method of Prophethood once again, and conducts intellectual and political work while absolutely rejecting using methods of compulsion and violence; we extend our gratitude to all the aware persons and institutions that presented statements about the necessity of ending this injustice being committed by the judiciary against Hizb ut Tahrir. And we affirm that the campaign is still ongoing into the next period within specific stages. Upon this occasion, we also announce that we are going to launch a signature campaign between 20 October and 20 November.

After the results of the Supreme Council of Judges and Prosecutors' elections, the government of the Justice and Development Party, which placed the constitution, the administration and the judiciary under its management, has no excuse any longer to state or pretext to deny this. That is why it is time to move and end the ongoing injustice actions. It is urgently necessary to end the trials of all the Muslims who were exposed to injustice publically, especially the members of Hizb ut Tahrir, occurring illegally, and to include the constitutional amendments which obliterate these illegal trials to the batch of the new judiciary that was mentioned previously. The events that recently happened in the last few days in Turkey made it clear what constitutes terrorism and who is the terrorist. In that situation, the government should show this difference in a very clear picture.
