The International Khilafah "Caliphate" Conference in Ankara Was Held Under Great Enthusiasm

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Khilafah "Caliphate"'s abolishment on 3rd of March, the International Khilafah "Caliphate" Conference in Ankara titled "Khilafah "Caliphate" - Fiction or Near Future?" organized by Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey became a vast success - with the help of Allah (swt), duaa of the Muslims, the participation of speakers from across the world, and under Takbirat and Khilafah "Caliphate" calls. The conference was attended by more than 5,000 people.

After the recitation of the Qur'an al Kareem, the conference's opening speech was held by Mahmut KAR, Head of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Turkey. Mahmut KAR made following statements in his speech: "The Islam-hostile Kuffar thought that by abolishing the Khilafah "Caliphate" on 3rd of March 1924, they buried Islam for good in history. They thought that Muslims would never make it back to the Khilafah "Caliphate". Today and here, with this conference, we lift the fallen flag again. And not only there where it fell down; not only in Istanbul... We are lifting up this flag in Ankara… Today and here, we live in sadness and hope at the same time. We are sad, because the 3rd of March is the Ummah's black day. We are sad, because the 3rd of March is the unfortunate day where this Ummah bereaved of its Khalifah. But at the same time we are hopeful, enthusiastic and rejoiceful. Because exactly 92 years after the abolishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" on 3rd of March 1924; here and today; right next to the Parliament where the Khilafah "Caliphate" became abolished, we are shouting out that we will re-establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" again."

The program was joined by guest speakers from all four corners of the world. Afterwards Ismail AL-WAHWAH, Member of Media Office Hizb ut Tahrir / Australia; M. Ismail YUSANTO, Official Spokesperson of Hizb ut Tahrir / Indonesia; Osman BAKHACH, Director of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir; Fazil HAMZAYEV, Head of Media Office Hizb ut Tahrir / Ukraine; Mulay JAW from Denmark, Muhammed ABDULLAEV from Kyrgyzstan and Mikail ROMANIKO from Russia held short addresses. The Muslims attending the conference, literally shook the conference hall with their Takbirat and Khilafah "Caliphate" calls, accompanied by nasheeds. The Khilafah "Caliphate" Conference ended with the talk and dua of scholar and author Abdullah IMAMOĞLU.

We as Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey, express our gratitude to all Muslims who joined this conference from Turkey and across the world, to those who work with heart and soul for the re-establishment of the Second Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah (Caliphate), and to those who support the Dawah carriers of Islam. We ask Allah Subhanu wa Taala to make this conference a means for the establishment of the Second Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah upon the Method of Prophethood.
