Statements Reveal part of America's Objectives in the War in the Red Sea
(Translated)

On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, the American Bloomberg agency revealed the failure of Washington to achieve its strategy aimed at closing the Red Sea for navigation. The agency mentioned that about 114 ships and oil tankers crossed the Bab el Mandeb on the past Wednesday, five days after the naval aggression carried out by American and British military forces in the Red Sea. The Houthis responded by targeting their warships.

On the other hand, Dianne Pfundstein Chamberlain, a specialist in American foreign policy and international security, wrote on the National Interest website about the failure of the United States' threats to the Houthis not to intercept commercial ships in the Red Sea. She argued that the U.S. would not be able to stop their attacks and destroy their entire stockpile of missiles and drones by launching missiles and using aircraft. America's desire to reduce the cost of the war it is conducting in the Red Sea will not achieve its goals in the face of the Houthis' determination for revenge. This brings to mind the results of the nine-year war led by the Riyadh-led coalition since 2015.

These two testimonies from American parties, presented to the current U.S. administration and the world, speak through words and lines, revealing what they hide between the lines.

Therefore, among America's objectives is to close the Red Sea for navigation, leading to harm to Europe, making it more compliant with the American administration and yielding to its plans and commitments to establish alliances around the world in the way it sees fit. It is not to force Cairo and Riyadh to join the Operation Prosperity Guardian because they willingly follow Washington's orders. Also, Britain's exit from the European Union makes it close to America and its clients in Yemen, ensuring they are not an easy prey in the face of America's goal of strengthening its allies and eliminating their competitors.

In addition to other objectives outlined by the Americans, including diverting the world's attention from what is happening in Gaza and strengthening their agents in northern Yemen to demonstrate their strength, locally, regionally, and internationally. This contributes to further exposing the lowliness of the English agents in southern and eastern Yemen.
