The British parliamentary elections took place on the 4th July, resulting in a landslide victory for the Labour Party. Five pro-Palestine independent MPs were elected, out of 650 seats. Many Muslims in the UK engaged the democratic process, either using tactical voting or supporting independent pro-Palestine candidates.

Over 1,300 Muslim pilgrims reportedly died during the annual Hajj, or pilgrimage to Mecca, this month in Saudi Arabia, where temperatures have soared beyond 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit).
