Press Release
A Delegation of Members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Netherlands visits the Bengali Embassy
(Translated)

The Hague – A delegation of members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Netherlands visited the Bengali Embassy last Wednesday on 30/09/2015, due to the Bengali authorities arresting and torturing two sisters from the members of Hizb ut Tahrir while they were distributing invitations to the Khilafah "Caliphate" Conference which the Hizb held last month via online.

The delegation was hoping to meet the Bengali Ambassador in order to talk to him in person, to demand from him to release the two arrested innocent sisters immediately, and give him a leaflet from the Hizb written about the injustice that is done to the men and women carriers of Da'wah in Bangladesh.

However, one of the Embassy's representatives informed the delegation that the Ambassador is on a trip out of the Netherlands. As such, the delegation informed the representative about the injustice and oppression that the Bengali authorities are exercising against our arrested sisters for nothing except that they are doing Da'wah to Islam in Bangladesh. The delegation assured that this injustice will not expand the period of Sheikha Hasina's regime, and the delegation presented the representative with a letter and in return, the representative promised to discuss this matter with the Ambassador once he returns from his travel.
