 How Liberal Societies Create Division

Tweets of Geert Wilders, head of the Party of Freedom, a far right political party in the Netherlands:

“India I love you

I support and defend you

You’re Hindu territory

You are not Islamic

It’s your -Hindu-homeland

NupurSharma deservers strong international support
And HindulifeMatters

Do you want me to visit India?

Please let me know.”

“Please India as a friend I tell you: stop
Being tolerant to the intolerant.

Defend Hinuism against the extremist, terrorist and jihadists.

Don’t appease Islam, for it will cost you dearly.

Hindus deserve leaders that protect them for the full 100%!”

Not surprisingly Geert Wilders tweeted his support for the spokesman of the Indian Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nupur Sharma, who made insulting remarks about Islam and the Prophet (saw). He also encouraged in the second tweet the stance of the BJP party, who has systematically oppressed Muslims e.g. allowed the lynching of Muslims without prosecution, the destruction of their homes and businesses without consequences and remained silent when Muslim women were put up for sale on the app; “Bulli Bai.”

It is well known that Geert Wilders holds a deep hatred for Islam and the symbols of Islam. He has throughout the years used the “Islamic Threat” dogma as an integral part of his political campaigns in the same way India is using it as smoke screen for the problems within its country. In fact we are witnessing a rise in far right ideas across Europa and the rest of the world.

It is the very foundation of Secular liberalism that lies at the base of this phenomena. On the one hand, Liberalism creates the illusion that we have the freedom to think, do and believe a certain way, but at the same time imposes very clear ideals, through its various outlets about how one should think, act and live and about what we should consider to be right and wrong.

Within this framework, we see politicians from all spectrums seeking support for their own ideals. They will use this same “freedom” to gain support for their own campaign without caring if it at the same time creates hatred towards those opposing their ideas, values and ethics.

Religious beliefs also fall victim within the liberal system. We are meant to believe that we have freedom of religion whilst at the same time being forced to compromise many aspects of it.

The liberal system is failing across the globe, from the Netherlands to India and it has created a vacuum for low bonds, such as nationalism, to rise. People are holding on to their cultural identity more than ever and this is creating dangerous division within society.

With liberal societies failing and communism already dead, Islam is the only ideological alternative. Just look at the sentiment pumped into society when Islam was its ruling system.

The first Mughal ruler Babur left the following will to his son Humayun who came to power after his death in 1530 CE this document is available in the State Library of Bhopal, India:

“My son take note of the following: Do not harbour religious prejudice in your heart. You should dispense justice while taking note of the people’s religious sensitivities, and rites. Avoid slaughtering cows in order that you could gain a place in the heart of natives. This will take you nearer to the people. Do not demolish or damage places of worship of any faith and dispense full justice to all to ensure peace in the country. Islam can better be preached by the sword of love and affection, rather than the sword of tyranny and persecution. Avoid the differences between the Shias and Sunnis. Look at the various characteristics of your people just as characteristics of various seasons.”
