French Satirical Cartoon Mocks the Muslims Dying after the Turkish and Syrian Earthquakes
Freedom to insult and express hate towards Muslims is a matter that international law permits and will never punish as it supports the suffering of the Ummah.
Charlie Hebdo, the magazine infamously known for the cartoons insulting the Prophet (saw), resumed its hate speech by publishing a cartoon of a building collapsing in the earthquake with captions saying, “no need to send tanks (to kill Muslims)”. The inhuman mocking of the suffering of the Ummah has met no formal condemnation by any leader, Muslim or non-Muslim, as freedom of expression is always the excuse given when any aspect of Islamic culture is defamed.
The current death toll is over 22,000 at the time of publication, and it’s still rising. Thousands of women and children have died, and hundreds of little orphans have lost their families and names in the disaster.
There are reports of people who have seen pictures of the young people rescued from the disaster, but they have gone missing in the chaos and disorganisation of the post-earthquake process. Organised criminals and mafia groups have been reported in the danger zones with no interest in helping, only looting the valuables they can find.
Turkey and Syria already have a human trafficking problem, and there is no way to ensure that vulnerable children are not kidnapped or taken by those with cruel intentions.
The time taken to insult those facing catastrophe is a reflection of the sadistic systems running the world today under the direction of nationalism and racism. Our rulers allow the UN veto to block aid into Syria, with Russia and China leading the efforts to maximise the deaths of those most in need. Currently, there is only one checkpoint in Syria that the UN has approved for aid to enter the disaster zone. The other three have been made illegal.
LA HAWLA WALLA QAWITTA ILLAH BILLAH!
Allah (swt) gave the command to send help and assist your brothers and sisters in their times of need and natural disaster. Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (ra) mobilized a camel caravan stretching from one end of the Arabian Peninsula to another to help those facing famine in Egypt.
It is the absence of the Khilafah (Caliphate) that allows the enemies of Islam permit who gets access to their human rights in the Muslim world.
Natural disasters are from Allah (swt) but the response method is not in implementation. This is a great Haram that needs to be ended immediately before the next tests from Allah (swt) strike the Ummah.
Allah (swt) speaks about those that mock the deed as having a great punishment, but those that allow zero response to the current suffering and humiliation of the Ummah will also have a great price to pay in the next life. The world should soon be relieved of those that rejoice in wicked words and mockery of the Muslims.
Narrated Abu Qatada bin Rib'i Al-Ansari: Bukhari and Muslim
A funeral procession passed by Allah's Messenger (saw) who said, “Relieved or relieving?” The people asked, "O Allah's Messenger (saw)! What is relieved and relieving?" He said, “A believer is relieved (by death) from the troubles and hardships of the world and leaves for the Mercy of Allah, while (the death of) a wicked person relieves the people, the land, the trees, (and) the animals from him.”
We must never fear the consequences of standing against the wrongdoing of in this time of trial. We know that Allah (swt) has promised the believers victory and failure has no relevance when inaction against Munkar (evil) is the greatest failure. Our position on the Day of Judgement in front of Allah (swt) is the only concern we should have over and above any world gain or position.
“Whoever works righteousness — whether male or female — while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter)” [Al-Nahl 16:97].
