The Western Call for Global Sexual Chaos

Background of the sexual chaos in the West
After Western Europe and newly independent America adopted secularism, the shackles of the church were thrown off in public life. Fundamental to these new secular states was the adoption of freedom of the individual, ownership, expression and religion for all their citizens. Under this principle, sexuality was perceived as an organic need, which must be satisfied just like hunger. It was not treated as a means for procreation and survival of the human species. Soon after the massive push from the secular liberal West to globalize sexual freedom under the guise of individual freedom, liberty and gender equality started.
The secular society started to challenge the traditional sexual conduct in the 1960’s with the sexual liberation movement, also called the sexual revolution. The primary goal of this movement was to increase the acceptance of sex outside of traditional heterosexual and marital relationships. It is important to note that this movement wasn’t planned in a day. It was a result of the desires lurking in the dark corners of the secular society which wanted to gain recognition and enter the mainstream.
In the 1950s, the American society was plagued with things like childbirth without marriage, teenage women (still considered kids in that society) becoming pregnant, kids not knowing their fathers etc. And this was still considered immoral in that society at large, as people still had some elements of the church left in them. The development of the birth control pill in 1960 encouraged women to enter into relationships outside wedlock while protecting themselves from the shame of bearing a child. There was an increase in sexual encounters between unmarried adults. Divorce rates shot up dramatically and marriage rates started to decline significantly during this period. Population of unmarried Americans aged 20-24 years, went up by more than 100% from 4.3 million in 1960 to 9.7 million in 1976. This was the time period when the secular societal system had started to fall apart.
The only way to reduce this plague was to tell the people that it wasn’t a plague anymore. And so, the movement started to normalize these kinds of issues to hide the deficiencies of the secular societal structure. One often wonders the way secular leaders deal with the societal problems their system generates; if you can’t deal with the problem of obesity in your country, start telling the fit ones that they are abnormal. Invest in promotions and advertisements, and in the next 20 years, fitness becomes a taboo. They packaged this new sexual behaviour with words like “progress”, “liberation”, “freedom” and started to promote it. They brainwashed the kids in their schools to think that homosexuality was normal and to think that they can satisfy their instinct whenever and whichever way they want but with protection. Thus, they corrupted the next generation.
Minimizing the resistance to such laws
The problem, was, and to some extent still is, that the “fitrah” (nature) of men, which recognises the fault with such relationships without having to prove it through logical reasoning or with the use of data points, considers that such relationships are unnatural. Any man with common sense thinks, for instance, if homosexuality is natural, and all the humans in the world become homosexual, where will the next generation of children come from. Nevertheless, in a society full of individuals with no divine moral standards and no source of divine knowledge to distinguish between right and wrong, “repeat a lie 100 times, and the lie becomes the new truth”, just like the promotion of obesity.
Democracy, one of the core elements of the secular society, makes it easy for the dominating clusters to frame laws that would help them satisfy their own instincts in whichever way they want to. That is so because a secular society leaves it up to the men to define “what’s good” and “what’s bad” thereby promoting “subjective morality”. When subjective morality is followed as a general practice, there is bound to be chaos in the society, as what is considered good by one man is considered bad by another, and the 51% opinion wins. The reason why they don’t recognize these acts and behaviours as being immoral and degenerate is because of another one of liberalism’s core tenets: you can do whatever you want, “as long as you’re not harming anyone”. The reality, however, is that these liberals don’t realize how they themselves don’t abide by this principle. There are numerous examples of things where “no harm” is involved which they would not tolerate. When it comes to things such as bestiality, necrophilia, incest and a consensual relationship between a child and an adult, the ‘love is love’ principle is quickly thrown out the window, and their inner moral compasses awaken.
This is exactly the opposite of what the Shariah promotes, i.e., “objective morality”. Objective morality from the Islamic perspective advocates that Allah (swt) tells man what is good and what is bad, leaving no room for subjectivity. Hence, the Shariah never changes and is consistent under all circumstances. The principle here is that if it were left up to the men to decide “what’s good/ moral” and “what’s bad/ immoral”, then they will always choose what satisfies their instinct the most, regardless of whether the practice is moral or immoral. Men will start framing laws which will normalize such practices, and they will go to the extent of changing the definition of morality itself. This is exactly where the fault lies with the secular system.
The reformers of the secular society try to build the public opinion using tools like LGBT, feminism, gender equality etc., and once the public opinion is built in its favour, they pass the laws. Democracy gives man the authority to legislate laws for society based on the mind, contrary to Islam that says that only Allah is the Legislator and He decides halal and haram. Thus, the rules and laws in the Western liberal society keep changing from time to time. Something that is considered unlawful today can be legalized tomorrow. In order to introduce filth into a society, liberal groups employ the use of ambiguity. They choose to take the path most shrouded in ignorance and confusion, and they use this to gradually manipulate societies into becoming more degenerate and godless.
Motives behind promoting this new sexual order
There are a few different aspects to look at when trying to identify the beneficiaries of this sexually chaotic society and the benefits they derive from it.
1) A sexually chaotic society gives birth to uncontrolled consumerism. A person is not a very good consumer if he has the quality of self-restraining. Any unethical business owner, like the ones that we see in the capitalist system, would want its consumers to buy its goods in an uncontrollable manner. They will promote their product and make people feel the need to buy the product. And so, the students of marketing management are taught about “creating the need” even if it is unnecessary and not needed. However, when we talk about toothpaste or similar products, despite the endless TV commercials, people still realize that they don’t need to buy another toothpaste as long as they don’t run out of the current one. So, the capitalists, in order to satisfy their greed, they went to the extent of commercializing sex as a commodity in a way that was never seen before in history. And because of the “product” being connected with the instinct, and due to a favourable environment, it was easy for people to lose control of themselves.
As a result of this widespread and new type of consumerism, youngsters in the secular society were found less in the libraries and more in the watered-down version of brothels, i.e., discos, pubs, bars, porn sites etc. The leaders of the secular society are well aware of the fact that this would lead to things like drug addiction, women trafficking, and mafia. However, their greed was limitless, and their morality was subjective.
2) Individualistic society is easy to manage in the secular political structure. Individualism is the concept of considering the interest of the individual as ethically paramount. Individualism values unconventional behaviour and respects life styles that do not conform to what the society currently approves. They take pride in “not going by the social norms of the society”. The assumption is that every individual is sensible enough to do what is right. Since individualistic societies are alienated from the collective interest of the community, it is easier for a secular government to exercise control over them, as opposed to a collective society where people care for each other. For instance, an American knows that CIA kills people, but still thinks it should exist as long as it is protecting them. On the other hand, a Muslim living in the country-side of Bangladesh, when hears about the illegal occupation of the Muslim lands, he feels their pain and wants to do something about the problem.
Individuals in such individualistic societies are depressed and lonely. And because of their nature of questioning and challenging the societal norms, they dig new holes in the already hollow secular liberal structure. Such individuals were a product of the failures of the secular system – both political and economic. In expressing their rejection of conformist values, they renounced formal codes, disparaged marriage, affirmed gay rights, dropped out of colleges in large numbers, retreated into communes and back to nature. Youngsters who took to hippy culture dropped out from college and traveled overseas in unprecedented numbers, started living together without undergoing proper marriage ceremony and even begot children.[1]
Individualism, thus, is good for the secular governments, as such people do not value collective interests and are easy to manage; however, they give rise to new evils in the society which even the west is surprised by at times i.e., incest and bestiality. Wouldn’t it be better for leaders like Trump and Biden, if “Individualist” becomes an “animal right activists” finding some deep philosophical answers to the question of “why can’t a man marry a goat”, while they go on bombarding half the world, while mismanaging the economic affairs of their own lands.
The level of sexual chaos in the secular West
The agenda of the capitalists to increase consumerism and the desire of the secular leaders to promote individualism for political ease brought havoc to their societal structure.
Three parallel surveys of college students were conducted in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei. The results reveal that collectivism correlated more strongly and negatively than individualism with exposure to internet pornography, attitudes toward premarital and extramarital sex, and sexual permissive behavior. The study found that more collectivistic people were less likely to accept premarital and extramarital sex and engage in sexually permissive behavior. People with the highest individualistic orientation, namely, vertical individualism, were most likely to accept internet pornography, premarital sex, and sexually permissive behaviour.[2]
According to another study, there is consensus that a lower sense of collectivism leads to risky sexual behaviour. In a national sample of college students from immigrant families in the U.S., comprising mainly Hispanic, East Asian and South Asian students, Schwartz et al. (2011) found that higher collectivist orientation was generally protective against drug use and unsafe sexual behaviour. Other US-based studies on Asian-American adolescents also indicate that higher individualism is associated with higher substance use, i.e., tobacco, alcohol, drugs etc. (Le et al., 2009), delinquency, i.e., crime committed by young people (Le & Stockdale, 2005), and risky sexual behaviour (Le & Kato, 2006). Consistent with these findings, research based on youth and young adult samples from mainland China has found higher collectivist or lower individualist orientation to be associated with lower substance use (i.e., tobacco, alcohol, and other drug use; Du et al., 2014), lower levels of substance use risk factors (Liu et al., 2010), and lower levels of physical and relational aggression (Li et al., 2010). Hence, there appears to be some consensus in the current literature that higher individualist and lower collectivist tendencies expose youth to higher risk for substance use and other risky behaviors.[3]
The statistical data mentioned below also shows how vulnerable and fragile the social structure of the capitalists/ secularists has become as a consequence of their engineered consumerism and individualism.
* Women in US get raped mostly by acquaintances and intimate partner. But for some reason they still consider getting married and satisfying their instincts early-on as a cultural backwardness. One study analyzing data from the 2011 NISVS found that in the US 19.3% of women are raped at some time in their lives, and 43.9% experience sexual violence other than rape. Often, the perpetrator is someone the victim knows: almost half of the female rape victims surveyed (46.7%) said they had at least one perpetrator who was an acquaintance, and a similar proportion (45.4%) said they had least one perpetrator who was an intimate partner.[4]
* United States is the rape capital of the world. UK, France, Germany, Canada and Sweden are also among the top 10. Every 68 seconds another American is sexually assaulted. One out of every six American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime. About 3% of American men or 1 in 33 have experienced an attempted or completed rape in their lifetime.[5] In the last 10 years, the numbers of “reported” rape cases in the US surged by 71.4%.[6]
For Sweden, rapes have increased by 39% between 2015 and 2021. There are enough data points which suggests that the situation is worsening with these countries, and their laws are not effective in tackling the situation.[6]
In the UK (England and Wales), the highest ever number of rapes within a 12-month period was recorded by police in the year ending March 2022: 70,330, i.e., approximately 8 rape cases per hour. Only 1 in 100 rapes were recorded by police in 2021 resulted in a charge that same year, let alone a conviction. Five in six women who are raped don’t report to the police and the same is true for 4 in 5 men. One in two adult survivors of rape have experienced it more than once.[7]
* The capitalists have even commercialized cheating the partners or extra-marital affairs. Many startups have surfaced in these countries where men and women who can look for filthy relationships outside their marriage. All they need to do is pay the subscription price for the service.[8]
* Western women spend over $20 billion annually on cosmetics and perfumes and another $12 billion on cosmetic surgery, while only $22 billion is needed to feed, clothe, and provide basic health care for the entire world’s poor. All this expenditure is incurred to abide by the artificial standards of fashion and beauty dictated by the corporate conglomerates profiting from the Western woman’s desire to look more lustful or appear more like a commercialized commodity.[8]
* The kids are not just victims anymore in these Western countries but the ones committing the crime at such an early age. In a 1998 incident, two 10-year-old boys were charged with rape. In another incident, a boy aged 12 was convicted and became the youngest person in Britain to be convicted of rape. He was 11 years old when he raped a 7-year-old girl during a drunken truth-or-dare game in September 2006.
A report by “End Violence Against Women” from 2016 reported “endemic levels of sexual violence and harassment in schools”, with 5,500 sexual offences reported to the police as having taken place in UK schools over a three-year period to July 2015, including 600 rapes.
Also, according to some reports, the minors in the UK are less likely to be convicted. Andrea Simon, director of the End Violence Against Women coalition, mentioned “If a boy has been able to assault a girl at a school with no consequences, then why wouldn’t he continue with that behaviour (in the future)”. Louise Whitefield, a lawyer who represented students who reported sexual assault, mentioned “This is an incredibly difficult issue for schools to address and too often schools decide not to deal with it at all, and say it is a police matter”.[9]
* The call to promote homosexuality is just making the problem bigger for the West. A scientific study found that “pictures of rotting flesh”, “maggots” and “spoiled food” induce the same physiological stress response in normal (straight) men as pictures of “two men kissing each other”.[10] It has far disassociated from the feelings of sexual pleasure that their materialistic societies strive for. It is this disgusting feeling of maggots and spoiled food that the Secular west is trying to shove down the throat of their men, women, and children.
Another study into the proportion of heterosexuals-to-homosexual molestation of children discovered that: those who practice homosexual acts are at least 12 times more apt to molest a child sexually.[11]
The West is now trying to infiltrate the Islamic values as always when it comes to homosexuality and facing a backlash from the Muslim communities. For instance, Andrew Moffat, a homosexual school administrator at Parkfield community school in Birmingham, was teaching kids about anal sex through picture books, after which Muslim parents started to pull out their kids from the school. As mentioned earlier, what the West is trying to do is to make these kids love “maggots” and “spoiled food” and embrace them instead of feeling naturally disgusted. In fact, one of the schools in UK had to pull out its content, after the Muslim community severely protested against the homosexual content.[11]
The data quoted above clearly exposes the sexual chaos that the West has inflicted upon itself with its secular laws. And what else could be expected of these secular leaders with a colonial mindset. They don’t mind committing mass murders in foreign nations, so how could they be bothered about some rape cases and child rapes. It’s a pity for those parents whose daughters are growing up in the West.
How are they secular leaders managing this broken situation?
A deep dive into the West’s way of handling the situation reveals that their best efforts are failing.
* The CEDAW initiative failed miserably. In fact, all the data reported above is after international treaties like CEDAW (The Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women) have been adopted by most of the nations. The Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) is an international treaty adopted in 1979 by the United Nations General Assembly. Described as an international bill of rights for women, it was instituted on 3 September 1981 and has been ratified by 189 states. Surprisingly, the USA has signed the treaty but did not ratify it.[12] The UK agreed to follow it in 1986, and as a consequence of which we see the crime data reported above.
Probably if the USA accepted the CEDAW, the rape cases, instead of increasing by 71.4% in 10 years, would have increased by 60-65%. That would surely qualify it as a good society to live in according to secular standards.
* The West controls the consequences of this sexual chaos by (hypocritic) totalitarian measures. Even though the West claims to promote individual freedom, it certainly becomes a little hypocritical when it comes to controlling the consequence of this sexual chaos. Since the Western society is full of sexual predators, and all sorts of sexual violence are being committed right from school to the houses, offices, streets and parking lots, the only option that their governments are left with is to exercise control with the use of increased tracking of individuals, monitoring their media consumption, monitoring the finances, monitoring the schools and people etc. It seems that the West now has to exercise control just like Saudi, and North Korea, and the freedom scheme seems to be not working out for them anymore.
* The West subsidizes the cost of sexual liberation and passes it on to the taxpayers. Due to this widespread sexual chaos, there is an increase in the number of highly depressed single and divorced women in the US who also bear a child. And not being able to work, or to manage the work life balance, they rely solely on the social security benefits. These benefits are, thus, directly sponsored by other taxpayers in the Western nations. And therefore, even the ones who are not part of this chaos in those societies also end up paying for such messed up laws.
It is not hidden anymore that the West is suffering from this sexual chaos, and this is the by-product of their own man-made laws. News anchors from the Western society are much more scared today to reach out to intellectual Muslims and debate with them on such topics, as they know that they will have to face a great deal of shame on live shows. So, we find them adopting the strawman approach of lying blatantly against the Muslims, and “pretending” to educate them about sexual relationships.
Probably it is time for the leaders in the US, UK and other Western countries to openly speak up about their mistakes. They should not fear the shame that they are going to face after their Ponzi political and social schemes are exposed. There is no shame in admitting failures and mistakes. They could also take some motivation from one of their capitalists, Henry Ford, who said “The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing”. They should start openly admitting that they need to adopt the Shariah, and accept the leadership of Muslims, to fix their social structure at the least. Considering that the Jizya is less than the taxes that are being currently imposed on their citizens, it wouldn’t be a bad deal after all.
How will the Khilafah deal with this problem?
The Shariah recognizes the fact that sex is not a commodity which is to be sold in the market. Rather, it opens up the door towards marriage, making it easier for women and men to satisfy their procreation instinct, whilst also taking up the responsibility of managing the family – the mother and the kids.
The men lower their gaze, along with the option to marry up to 4 women and take full responsibility for their needs. Women on the other hand take care of the household responsibilities of taking care of the children and helping out the husband with his daily household needs. This type of arrangement makes women more feminine and makes men for masculine, unlike the men and women in the West, where men reduce their level of masculinity and women increase their level of femininity to pair up and work it out.
The Islamic society has progressed without the idea of individual freedom in the past, and it will do so in the future. Even the secularists are aware that individual freedom if not contained could lead to disasters; hence, they framed the defamation laws to contain freedom of speech, for example. Islam places no limits on thinking, calls for discussion and debate and invites all to be engaged, irrespective of race, religion or point of view. And thus, Islam is in no need to adopt the West’s hypocritic and self-contradicting thoughts on individual freedom and its components including sexual freedom.
Islam recognizes that sex isn’t an organic need like hunger; rather, it is the procreation instinct that needs to be fulfilled to advance the continuation of human species. Triggering the instinct requires a) tangible reality and b) association of ideas and previous thoughts. Once these two intersect, the urge arises, and not satisfying this urge merely causes discomfort, and not death, unlike in the case of organic needs, satisfying which is a must for survival. Constructive advice is then provided by the Quran, the Sunnah about satisfying the procreation instinct or controlling the urge. For instance, the saying of Allah (swt) at different places in the Quran:
(وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ) “And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts)” [Al-Noor 24:31]
(وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَى * فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى)
“But as for him who feared stand-ing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires and lusts. Verily, Par-adise will be his abode” [Al-Naz’i’at 79:40-41]
(وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ الزِّنَى إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً وَسَاء سَبِيلاً) “And come not near to unlawful sex. Verily, it is a Fahishah (i.e. anything that transgresses its limits: a great sin, and an evil way that leads one to hell unless Allah Forgives him).” [Al-Isra 17:32]
Or, the sayings of the Prophet (saw):
«لا تُتبعِ النَّظرةَ النَّظرَةَ، فإنَّ لَكَ الأولى ، ولَيسَتْ لَكَ الآخرَةُ»
“Do not follow one glance at a woman with another. Verily, you are excused for the first one but not for the second.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2777]
Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (ra) narrated, “We were young men with the Prophet (saw) and we did not have anything (i.e., we could not afford to get married). The Messenger of Allah (saw) said to us,
«يَا مَعْشَرَ الشَّبَابِ، مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمُ الْبَاءَةَ فَلْيَتَزَوَّجْ، فَإِنَّهُ أَغَضُّ لِلْبَصَرِ، وَأَحْصَنُ لِلْفَرْجِ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالصَّوْمِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ لَهُ وِجَاءٌ»
‘O young men, whoever among you can afford to get married, then let him do so, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity. And whoever is not able to do that, then let him fast, for that will be a shield for him.’” [al-Bukhari, 5066; Muslim, 1400]
When society has this level of objective morality, without an iota of doubt about what constitutes good and what constitutes bad, sexual chaos ceases to exist. There is honour and dignity for both men and women, both as kids and adults, with a high level of social security. Hence, the Khilafah never had to struggle with the problem of “Sexual chaos” at all. Even the nation states like Saudi (with no Islamic system implemented, and only with some Islamic values among its citizens), get to enjoy the benefits of lower levels of sexual chaos. Sadly, the so-called “Muslim leaders” of today are more inclined towards individualism as it will prevent people from protesting, and the impact is visible. Things have already started to change in the Middle East as leaders have started promoting Western values among their citizens through sports events, concerts, casinos etc. Only the Khilafah could undo the damage that the West has inflicted upon these Muslim lands through their puppet rulers and leveraging its media.
The Khilafah (Caliphate) State will eradicate this social evil in ways that are noble. Women will once again enjoy safety and security. They will be treated with honour rather than being treated like commodities. Their commercialization will stop. Their bonding with their families will increase. Their depression will cease to exist, and there will be no more drug or alcohol addiction. They will return to a healthy, natural and Islamic lifestyle. Something which the West has deprived their women off for too long.
