Modi the Butcher of Indian Muslims Opens the Largest Hindu Temple in the UAE

Last week, India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi inaugurated UAE’s largest Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, in a bid to increase his popularity ahead of India’s general elections scheduled for May 2024 [1]. The building of the temple started in 2019, and despite the mistreatment of India’s 200 million plus Muslims by Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) relations between the UAE and India have blossomed.

Over the past five years, the UAE has deliberately ignored the plight of Indian Muslims in preference for closer ties with Modi the butcher of Gujrat. The UAE not only muted its criticism of India’s withdrawal of Kashmir’s special status but proceeded to heavily invest in Kashmir after the Muslim-majority state was savagely partition by the extremist Hindu government.

In October 2021, the UAE announced that it would invest an undisclosed amount in infrastructure projects in Kashmir. Two years later, the Dubai based developer, Emaar declared it would spend $60m in a shopping and office complex [2]. The Economist this month reports that since 2019, UAE’s investment in India has tripled to the tune of $9.8bn and both countries have signed a free trade agreement in 2023 designed to boost non-oil trade to $100bn by 2030 [3].

The strengthening of UAE’s commercial ties comes at the expense of the Hindu zealots spilling Muslim blood under the tutelage of the BJP. Modi’s visit to Abu Dhabi comes just weeks after he celebrated the opening of the Ram Mandir—a site where Hindu fanatics destroyed the 16th century Babri Masjid in 1992. The fanfare celebrations orchestrated by the BJP encouraged Hindu extremists to perpetrate more unfathomable violence against India’s Muslim citizens—including the pillage of businesses and personal property, slaughter of Muslims and the desecration of masjids.

Yet none of this seemed to bother the rulers of the UAE, as they warmly embraced the butcher of Gujrat, sullied their hands with fresh Muslim blood and facilitated the largest gathering of idol worshippers in the Arabian Peninsula. Instead of safeguarding Muslim blood and ensuring the supremacy of Islam, the rulers of the UAE bolstered the mushriks of India. Allah (swt) says:

[هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ]

“It is He Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), to make it superior over all religions even though the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) hate (it).” [TMQ: Al Tawbah: 33].

To add insult to injury, the UAE along with Jordan and Saudi Arabia are openly collaborating with India and the Jewish state to provide a land bridge to transport desperately needed goods from India to the Jewish state—which is cut off from the Red Sea—but are withholding food and water from the Muslims of Gaza. The Messenger of Allah (saw) set an example by overturning the treacherous alliance between Mushriks of Quraish and the Jews of Qurayza in the aftermath of the Battle of Khandaq. Today, the regimes of UAE, Jordan and Saudi Arabia are working diligently not only to re-establish strong ties between Mushriks and Jews but also to ensure their primacy over Muslims. Allah (swt) says:

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوَاْ إِن تُطِيعُواْ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنقَلِبُواْ خَاسِرِينَ]

“Oh believers! If you yield to the disbelievers, they will drag you back to disbelief—and you will become losers.” [TMQ: Aali-Imran: 149].

Notwithstanding the contemporary propaganda by Jews and Indians against Islam, it is only under the Caliphate that Mushriks, Jews and Muslims can live in peace. In the 13th century, Alauddin Khalji of the Delhi sultanate defeated the Mongol hordes five times. This meant that India’s Hindu majority were spared annihilation. Instead, they thrived and prospered under Islamic rule. Likewise, in the 15th century, the Jews persecuted and expelled from Catholic Spain were welcomed by the Ottoman Caliphate where they flourished for centuries under Islamic rule.

[وَقُلْ جَاء الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا]

“And say: The Truth has come and falsehood vanished. Surely falsehood is bound to vanish.” [TMQ: Al-Isra: 81]
