Shocking and alarming. The K-Pop concert entitled "Let's Fly with B1A4 & Acer" held in Kuala Lumpur on 10 January this year has witnessed several incidents where girls covered in hijab went on stage and then hugged the artists mentioned. Surprisingly, these girls allowed and ‘gave permission' to be treated with indecent acts in front of the public. The embarrassing behavior became viral after the video uploaded via youtube was spread through the social media, Facebook. The video with a duration of 3 minutes 21 seconds has received countless criticism from various parties who condemned the scene.

The Chairman of the Malaysian Association of Global Muslim Scholars, Abdul Ghani Samsudin also condemned the shameful actions. He stated that the act of the fans with B1A4 K-Pop group members is against the teachings of Islam as it totally has crossed the line between the barriers amongst a man and woman who are not mahrem.

While Jakim Director-General, Datuk Othman Mustapha stated that the incident has left a very embarrassing impact to Malaysians, especially Muslims where Muslim girls clearly seem very obsessed towards the K-Pop artists. "Jakim has taken an initiative to publish Guidelines regarding Entertainment in Islam which has been published since 2007. However, until what extent has these guidelines been taken into consideration and referred by agencies and program organizers?" he claimed in a statement on Monday. "The concert was not referred to Jakim at all and the Jakim department was not even informed about it's organization," he said. Othman said the organizers of the concert should be responsible and cannot get away with what had happened.

While our country is still grieving with some heart-wrenching scenes recently, we have been shocked by the disgraceful acts at the concert which clearly contradicts the Islamic law. This indecent culture brought by the Korean artists has bewitched young Muslims until they allow themselves to be ‘victims' of what the artists desire to do upon them. Where is the dignity of Malaysia whom the government claims to be an "Islamic state"? Is this wild concert in line with the wasatiyyah concept (moderation) proclaimed by the Prime Minister until this immoral concert is allowed by the government? Do the guidelines outlined also permit this wild celebration to be executed in this state which upholds Islam as the federal religion?

Indeed, the tragedy that happened is a product of the liberalism culture that is critical in Malaysia. The existence and spread of the liberalism culture in our homeland is not a process that occurs naturally, but is the end result of the cultural liberalization process conducted in an organized and systematic manner and this process most certainly is a part of the Wests planning on Muslims. Islam which is embraced by the majority of the population in this country has never taught its believers such acts. This wild culture is most definitely the western culture brought into our country in line with colonialism in physical and mental form upon Muslim countries. Thus, the influx and spread of the liberalism culture in Malaysia is indeed inseparable from the Western cunning and detailed conspiracy upon Muslims.

Cultural liberalization conspiracy by the West against Muslim countries runs parallel with its colonial motives. With the liberalization of the culture, the society in Muslim countries including Malaysia will lose their Muslim identity and wear Western clothes. They are even proud to do so without further consideration of halal or haram in their acts. That is what the West desires which is the Muslims following their every step and eventually converting to their religion. In the end, colonialization and imitation of the West is no longer seen as a problem but has become a symbol of modernization including hedonism which prioritizes lust towards the world as its main priority. Similarly, the same goes to the concept of permissiveness that allows everything without restriction.

And at this very moment, the demoralization of youth has increased with the ‘sophistication' of various dangerous ideologies which can corrupt their morals and behavior. As a result, hedonism and permissiveness are being made a benchmark in action until the young generation who are bombarded with indecent influences are no longer capable in distinguishing between right and wrong. Failure to obtain righteous information have also contributed to the degradation of teenager's social system. Teenagers are confused with various faiths which make them become addicted until they are influenced by indecent cultures brought by ideologies other than Islam. These ideologies and cultures result in the youngsters no longer accepting the righteous Islamic teachings.

Therefore, one of the solutions to save the youth of Islam is to change their way of thinking which is currently influenced by hedonism and permissiveness that has produced a corrupt generation with low morals. The young generations behavior and morals is declining due to the way of thinking and lifestyle that has been molded with hedonism and permissiveness. This phenomenon with all its negative consequences is increasing year by year quantitatively and qualitatively. This systematic corruption certainly did not happen just like that as there must be a reason behind it. Allah swt has stated,

((ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي النَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي عَمِلُوا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ))

"Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness]." [Surah ar-Rum (30): 41]

Since the collapse of the caliphate on 3rd March 1924, all of the rules we live by today is no longer governed by the revelations from Allah but governed by man-made systems. The Caliphate system derived from Islam has been replaced with democracy. Secularism which is the root of democracy has been made the guideline in life. Since then, the Islamic way of thinking has been abandoned and the West strives to distance Islam from Muslims daily life. The West's success has resulted in some Muslims no longer able to distinguish between the corrupt Western lifestyle and the righteous Islamic lifestyle. Thus, the Islamic way of thinking must be instilled in every Muslim in order for them to rise up and be aware of the hedonism injection which originates from secularism. This is not the duty of certain parties but is an obligation to every individual, society including countries to ensure that the Islamic way of life can be implemented. This is in line with the words of the Prophet (saw):

«إِنّ اللَّهَ لا يُعَذِّبُ الْعَامَّةَ بِعَمَلِ الْخَاصَّةِ حَتَّى يَرَوُا الْمُنْكَرَ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْهِمْ وَهُمْ قَادِرُونَ عَلَى أَنْ يُنْكِرُوهُ ، فَلا يُنْكِرُوهُ ، فَإِنْ فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ عَذَّبَ اللَّهُ الْعَامَّةَ وَالْخَاصَّةَ»

"Verily, Allah Almighty would not punish a group of people for acts (sins) of a handful of people among them, until when they see injustice done openly in front of them, where they are able to prevent it but they do not do so. Thus, if that happens, Allah will surely send his punishment to the handful of sin doers and all of the people." [Narrated by Ahmad].

Nonetheless, Muslims as a whole should not just sit back and merely watch what is happening. Surely, those who remain silent regarding all of the immorality happening around them will also receive part of sins that are committed by others. Therefore, what should be done by every Muslim? Due to disbelief, immorality, vices and acts of sins are the cause of damage, thus the solution is by curbing or eliminating all the vices and restoring a lifestyle which is in accordance with the Islamic Shariah. As long as acts of sins still dominate the society, do not expect corruption on this earth to have an end. That is its implication in simple words.

Another thing to remember is that no longer carrying out acts of sins and returning to Islam must be executed kaf'fah (comprehensively) as Allah has commanded in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 208.

((يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ادْخُلُواْ فِي السِّلْمِ كَآفَّةً وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ))

"O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy." [Surah al-Baqarah (2):208]

If the change is not done comprehensively, this means that there is still space for vices and this will call for Allah's anger and punishment as Allah has stated in Surah al-Baqarah, verse 85.

أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ الْكِتَابِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍ فَمَا جَزَاءُ مَنْ يَّفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ مِنكُمْ إِلاَّ خِزْيٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَى أَشَدِّ الْعَذَابِ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

"Then, you are those [same ones who are] killing one another and evicting a party of your people from their homes, cooperating against them in sin and aggression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their eviction was forbidden to you. So do you believe in part of the Scripture and disbelieve in part? Then what is the recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do." [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 85]

Thus, it is an obligation for every Muslim to strive in implementing the Shariah and re-establishing the Caliphate on the method of the Prophethood, not only to prevent all these disobedience and acts of sins but to also save ourselves from the ‘shares' of the sins executed by the wrongdoers.

((اسْتَجِيبُوا لِرَبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَكُم مِّن مَّلْجَإٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّكِيرٍ))

"Respond to your Lord before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. No refuge will you have that day, nor for you will there be any denial." [Surah ash-Shuraa (42): 47
