Ash-Sham (The Levant) is the Home of the Khilafah
(Translated)

I often wondered about the Hadith of the Prophet (saw):

«هَذَا الْأَمْرُ كَائِنٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ ثُمَّ بِالشَّامِ ثُمَّ بِالْجَزِيرَةِ ثُمَّ بِالْعِرَاقِ ثُمَّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ ثُمَّ بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ، فَإِذَا كَانَتْ بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ فَثَمَّ عُقْرُ دَارِهَا، وَلَنْ يُخْرِجَهَا قَوْمٌ فَتَعُودُ إِلَيْهِمْ أَبَدًا»

“This matter (the Caliphate) will be in Madinah, then in Al-Sham, then in the Peninsula, then in Iraq, then in Madinah then in Bait ul-Maqdis. If it is in Bait ul-Maqdis, its home country is there, and no people will be able to remove it, so it will return to them forever.” That is, it is the final place of the Khilafah (Caliphate); the Khilafah will not depart from it after that! The question here is: What is the position of Bait ul Maqdis compared to the major Muslim metropolises such as Makkah, Medina, Damascus, Cairo, Istanbul, and Baghdad, which Imam al-Shafi’i once said to one of his students, “Have you seen Baghdad?” And he said no. He said: “Then you have not seen the world and you have not seen the people!” These are the cities that witnessed most of the history of the Islamic Khilafah and were undisputedly among the greatest cities in the world. So why did the Messenger (saw) neglect their reality and mentioned Al-Quds and ended his noble Hadith there?

If we revisit our great history and the rules of the Shariah of our Lord, Al Aziz Al A’leem (Almighty and All-Knowing), we will find that Allah (swt) has made the Sunnah of replacement a fixed law that does not change, does not alter and does not flatter anyone at the expense of another. So, the one who fulfills the rights of Allah and is patient with His trials with a broad heart and seeks Allah’s reward in what he owes and gains, is the one most deserving of receiving Allah’s pleasure and ultimately obtaining His reward in this world before the afterlife.

This is exactly what happened with the people of Ash-Sham (the Levant) and the people of Palestine in particular. Since the criminal Mustafa Kemal destroyed the Uthmani Khilafah (Ottoman Caliphate) in Istanbul, the guardian and defender of Muslims, and expelled the Ottoman family to Europe to taste humiliation, oppression, deprivation, poverty and destitution, the people of Palestine have been afflicted with all kinds of horrors and difficulties and all stages of injustice, tyranny, oppression and deprivation, even from those closest to them among their Muslim brothers. From the first days of their battle with their enemy, the English, and the Jews behind them, they were forced to rely on themselves for more than seventy lean years, by equipping themselves with whatever they could from money, weapons, and men, striving in the name of Allah to restore the Masra (site of I’sra) of their Prophet (saw).

Here we do not undermine the efforts of some Muslims from outside the land of Palestine when they stood with their brothers from Palestine on several occasions in which they subjected the English and Jews to bad torment.

But we are talking here about the majority of those who fought and were patient among the people of Palestine alone after the agent rulers failed our brothers in Palestine. These rulers were not satisfied with just letting them down and cutting off supplies, but they also conspired when they worked to withdraw weapons from the hands of the revolutionaries under the pretext that the armies had arrived and that the duty to fight the Jews, reclaiming the land, and protecting the honour fell solely on these armies. The revolutionaries believed them and surrendered their weapons! They later became vulnerable to displacement, calamities (Nakba), and setbacks (Naksa) until they were trapped on less than 20% of the land on which their ancestors lived.

Today, after all these years, the people of Palestine, especially the oppressed Muslims in Gaza, are exposed to the ugliest, most heinous, despicable, and most barbaric wars in modern and ancient history. More than two million oppressed Muslims, the vast majority of whom are women and children, have been besieged for more than sixteen years from all sides, including Egypt, and today they are exposed to the barbarism, hatred, and depravity of the Jews, supported by all the criminal, oppressive powers of the earth, especially America and Europe, who supply them with all the weapons, money, and food they need. They are joined in this by countries affiliated with Muslims, led by Turkey, which wasted no effort in supplying the Jews with goods, services, oil and its derivatives, in one of the lowest and disgraceful positions that a party affiliated with Muslims can take!

Let us not forget here the failure of the Ummah of two billion people to support their brothers, in a bizarre and strange scene that the mind cannot comprehend! The truthful, the trustworthy, was right when he (saw) said: «لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ»“…they will never be harmed by those who forsake them.” Being letdown in the Hadith means the ability of Muslims and their capability to do something and then they do not do it! This, by Allah is a great calamity.

All of this is happening not to confront a state that could be a threat to the pariah entity, but rather against women and children and some fighters from the Mujahideen factions of Izz al-Din al-Qassam and the rest of the brothers who joined under the banner of their jihad.

This group of believers in Allah and His Messenger and the rest of the Muslims in Palestine have presented to the entire world, including to the Muslims who are reluctant to support them, the most wonderful examples of patience and fighting, offering souls, money, and families as a sacrifice for the land of Al-I’sra wal Mi’raj (Night Journey and Ascension). They were not stingy, nor were they cowardly, nor did they give up, so Allah brought terror at their hands into the entity of the cowardly Jews. They proved to the far and wide that this entity is a paper tiger unable to face any real challenge on the ground, and that the survival of this entity would not have continued without the complicity, meanness, villainy, and betrayal of the Muslim rulers and commanders of their soldiers, who have deluded the Ummah for decades that the Jewish army is invincible, and that the Muslims have no ability to face it! But this lie was exposed before the eyes of the whole world, and the kaffir West was forced to provide everything this entity needed, even mercenaries arrived from all over the world to stand and fight with the brothers of the monkeys and pigs.

The suffering, difficulties, and horrors that befall Muslims are what sharpen their minds and hearts and strengthen their belief in Allah (swt), thus providing them with patience, so they do not wait for goodness and victory except from Allah (swt), after people cut their ties with these oppressed people, even by their Muslim brothers! And here is the bottom line, i.e., there is no salvation, no victory, no success, no honour, and no empowerment except from Allah, Al A’li Al Adheem (the Most High, the Great), and He Alone is Al Aziz Al Jabbar and the only One who is able to say to a thing, “Be,” and it happens.

With the presence of a group of believers from the people of Palestine, Ash-Sham, and from the people of Gaza, from the members of Hizb ut Tahrir, who strive and work day and night for the establishment of a state for Muslims in which the people of belief are honoured and in which the Shariah of Allah is implemented and the heads of the people of disbelief and hypocrisy are cast down because of it. By the belief of these people in the promise of their Lord (swt) and the glad-tidings of His Noble Messenger (saw) who emphasized the establishment of his second Khilafah state on the method of the Prophethood, the earth will not find a place nobler or more worthy than Bayt ul Maqdis to be the home of the second Khilafah Allah willing.

From the above, we can say that the arrival of the Khilafah in Bait ul Maqdis has more than one indication. The first is that Bait ul Maqdis is a historical, political and geographical node of the ancient world. It is the center of all religions and the focus of their attention. Whoever controls it will control the ancient world. This means that when the Khilafah is established there, the Muslims will then control the entire world despite the Jews and Christians being against them. The second is a reward for the people of Ash-Sham for what happened to them and the pain, brokenness, patience and perseverance they endured for many decades, so Allah (swt) will make them masters of the entire world, by Allah (swt) they deserve and they are its people.

Allah (swt) says:

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اصْبِرُواْ وَصَابِرُواْ وَرَابِطُواْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ]

“O you who have believed, persevereand endureand remain stationed and fear Allāh that you may be successful” [Aal-i-Imran: 200].
