Finance Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Ishaq Dar on Sunday, 16th October 2022, urged the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and multilateral donors to provide greater policy support. He asked the IMF to tailor its response to the situation in Pakistan and similar countries by taking into consideration the serious economic, social and political challenges that they face amid climate-induced calamities, according to a press release issued by the finance ministry.

“On Friday morning, Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer, Kwasi Kwarteng, was summoned a day early back to London from the United States straight to Downing Street, where he was relieved of his duties. The move came three weeks after Kwarteng announced a controversial mini-budget full of unfunded tax-cutting measures that sent financial markets into meltdown. At one point, the pound sank to its lowest level against the dollar in decades.”

On the 30th of September, the Danish Ministry of Immigration and Integration published a status report of the so-called integration barometer. The integration barometer was published in 2012, and is intended to show development in integration of non-Western immigrants within objectives such as work, education, and language.
