The editor in chief of the paper, Maung Thway Chun, said that the threat of “Islamization” in Myanmar is a problem. He also said: “We’re not oppressing Muslims, and we recognize their existence. But we don’t want Muslims to swallow our country. (Source: The Atlantic)

The threat of 'islamisation’ and the continuous hatred against Muslims, ignited by the nationalist Buddhist monks, are the reason to expel Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar. After British colonialism, nationalism and religious sentiment have continuously been used as reason to kill, ignoring the right of Rohingya people who were born and lived for centuries in the Rakhine state. The hatred, genocide killing and the direct attacks against Muslims are clearly expressed through their word and action. In their recent weekly newspaper Aung Zay Yatu issued in September 1 one headline that reads: “The Different Dangers of Bengali Muslims.”

Allah has mentioned about the hatred of mushrik to the Muslims in the Quran;

(لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ ٱلنَّاسِ عَدَٲوَةً۬ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱلۡيَهُودَ وَٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْۖ)

“You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah.” [Al-Maidah 5:82]

The cause of the issue in Rohingya is similar to what is happening to the Muslims all over the world in Palestine, Syria, Kashmir, Mindanao, Patani, Xinjiang and others. The unity of the Muslim lands has been torn up into pieces and the single brotherhood are barred by the nationalism and individual selfishness. The power of Amir who always called for Jihad has been removed and replaced with the coward puppet leaders who can only watch the killing. Acting like a “donkey” following what the master is asking them to do, only shouting if they are being slapped. The call for Khilafah will unite the Muslim land and safe Muslims against the tyrant rulers.

Have the Myanmar democracy ever protected Rohingya’s right or have the other Rulers of the Muslim states protected Rohingya people? None of this could or would ever be done so just because Rohingya is the citizen of no state. The leaders in the Muslim countries, elected through the democratic system suppose to help the majority of human life, could only begging for the hopeless help from United Nation, offering humanitarian aid to refugees camps, as many dies it wouldn’t be able to solve the issue permanently.

The urgency of need for Khalifah is definite. It will create fear to the enemy, protecting the Muslim land, implement the shariah system and the safeguard for Muslim life. It is the state of authority that could protect the entire human life which many has seen throughout history.

Under the great state of Uthmaniyah, Muslim in southeast Asia were united under Islam and they were assisted with the military weapons against Portuguese occupation. This could only happen because of the amanah responsibility of fear to Allah, the unity of a borderless state, the feeling of brotherhood, the order to protect the Muslim land and the responsibility of da’wah even though the mushrik didn’t like it.

(وَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ۬ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ ٱلۡخَيۡلِ تُرۡهِبُونَ بِهِۦ عَدُوَّ ٱللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّڪُمۡ وَءَاخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُهُمۡ‌ۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَىۡءٍ۬ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيۡكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تُظۡلَمُونَ)

“Prepare against them whatever force you can, and the trained horses whereby you frighten Allah’s enemy and your own enemy and others besides them whom you do not know. Allah knows them. Whatever thing you spend in the way of Allah, it will be paid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged.” [Al-Anfal 8:60]

(مُّحَمَّدٌ۬ رَّسُولُ ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۤ أَشِدَّآءُ عَلَى ٱلۡكُفَّارِ رُحَمَآءُ بَيۡنَہُمۡ)

“Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves.” [Al-Fath 48:29]

(هُوَ الَّذي أَرسَلَ رَسولَهُ بِالهُدىٰ وَدينِ الحَقِّ لِيُظهِرَهُ عَلَى الدّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَو كَرِهَ المُشرِكونَ)

“It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although they who associate others with Allāh dislike it.” [At-Tawbah 9;33]
