ISLAMABAD: The Malaysian Prime Minister, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, has said Malaysia appreciates and will continue to maintain its good relationships with Pakistan and India but won’t take sides with anyone in the event of conflict. (thenews.com.pk)

Pakistan has received an unconcerned response from the Malaysian President as it did from the Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman in the matter of receiving any support against India. It seems that Dr Mahathir, just like Muhammad Bin Salman, does not understand that Kashmir is the root of conflict between India and Pakistan and even, they don't understand who to side with, then there is something seriously wrong with their understanding. The problem is not just the Malaysian President’s comment but how nicely it will be brushed off by the Prime Minister of Pakistan who considers Mahathir Mohammad an idol. This visit is completely of a business kind as Malaysia has brought an investment of $900 million to Pakistan, but there is no reason that Malaysia would spoil its trade with India or displease its Hindu population for taking sides with Pakistan. And for Imran Khan, a gift of a Proton car and heavy investment are dearer than the Muslim blood that is being spilled in Kashmir on a daily basis.

Mahathir Mohammad also said that “terrorists cannot conquer”. What can they do?... Kill people! We would like to ask Dr. Mahathir that how would he define the killing of innocent Kashmiris? Isn't that terrorism? Or like the whole Western world, should we also consider these people as invisible or lesser beings who deserve to die, if not just for their faith, then for their helplessness and vulnerability.

What people, like Imran Khan and Dr. Mahathir, need to understand is that the reason of their unity should not be material gain, but duty towards the Muslim Ummah and that should be their first priority. Dr. Mahathir is the oldest ruling leader in the world and since his return as a Prime Minister, the Malaysian Government has been trying to please the Human Rights demands from the international arena by focusing on its multi-ethnic population consisting of Chinese and Hindus. Just like Imran talks about the State of Madina and rules by the law and culture left behind by the British, Mahathir is also wholeheartedly committed to the ruling legacy left behind by the British colonialist. These people play with the emotions of Muslim Ummah by giving them little crumbs, and in response expect praise and silence. They need to understand that if they unite under the flag of the Prophet (saw), only then they can taste success and honour; otherwise, their greatness and goodness are just a form of self-deceit. Under the shade of Khilafah, Muslims will see the leaders who will not be satisfied by just refusing to return 11 Uighurs but who would worry for the safety of 1 million Uighur Muslims who are living as prisoners in China and being re-educated in concentration camps. This will be the state that will move its forces to help the pelleted Muslims of Kashmir.

This state will not buy the safety of one part and its people by selling the others. How small are the leaders who take pride in their stubbornness and who take a stand against the Almighty and take sides with the devil. Surely with the devil they will find their place. A state established on the method of the Prophet will be responsible for the Muslims of the whole world and will not abandon them for any kind of personal gain.

Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

«مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ وَتَعَاطُفِهِمْ مَثَلُ الْجَسَدِ إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ عُضْوٌ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى»

“The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.” (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)
