Although there are multiple examples that prove the hypocritical failure of the current Pakistani Government, but to hide its disability it is ready to go to any extent. Instead of feeling ashamed for abandoning sister Aafia Siddiqui, the Pakistani Foreign Office had the guts to put the blame on our sister who is nothing more than a pawn that has been used and abused by her own protectors. The disappearance of Aafia and the later failure in retrieving her depicts the exact picture of this Ummah. How it lost its honour and dignity in the hands of disbelievers, but with the treacherous help of some insiders. How those insiders and their descendants in traits try to brainwash the people that the lost honour cannot be regained or in that “it never existed”.
If we try and draw a parallel between getting our sister Aafia back and the establishment of Khilafah, we will learn that both are unachievable as long as we don’t stand up straight and march towards our goal without hesitation and with complete understanding of the criteria. Compromises and deals do not work. They just delay the process and exhaust the energy. Our sister has been accused of crimes that she never committed and received a verdict that she did not deserve, just as our State was branded as cruel with the Sultan being accused of being “The Red Sultan” and the verdict of the West was to cut the state into pieces and leave Muslim Ummah protectionless just as they left sister Aafia’s children without a mother.
According to a Consul General Visit Report of May 2018, Aafia Siddique is in a miserable state. When the Consul General met her, she complained of being subjected to harassment, and physical, emotional and sexual abuse. She did not only complain about the US staff behaviour but also accused Pakistani officials of siphoning off the money allocated for the case. Blaming her for being responsible for the failure of her return is an absolute new level of cruelty and shows how Pakistani officials can go to any extent to hide their own inefficiency.
Return of Dr Aafia can be a matter of days, if not hours, but only if the people with power realise their obligation, just like the return of the Caliphate and retrieving of the Muslim lands and freedom and honour of this Ummah can be achieved fast by the sword. We Muslims need to understand that the forced abduction and imprisonment of our sister is no less than the occupation of masjid-e-Aqsa, and to get these honourable elements of the state back we need to demand our forces use their power in favour of their own people instead of using it against them.
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
«مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ وَتَعَاطُفِهِمْ مَثَلُ الْجَسَدِ إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ عُضْوٌ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى»
“The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”
