The United States has hailed Bangladesh for the verdict in a case over the terrorist attack on the Holey Artisan Bakery, reiterating its support to fight against terrorism. The verdict “gives some closure” to the families of those who suffered from the “brutal” murders committed on July 1, 2016, the US Embassy in Dhaka said in a statement on Wednesday after the verdict (bdnews24.com, 28 Nov 2019).

Comment:

The heinous July 1 Gulshan cafe attack, in which 22 people including 17 foreigners were killed, cannot be viewed excluding the context of America’s wholesale war against Islam. Under the pretext of ‘war on terror’, America has annexed numerous Islamic countries, which are vital for achieving her geopolitical interests in the respective regions, to her ideological war against Islam exploiting the crisis situation like Gulshan café (Holey Artisan) attack. When the concrete details about the assailants and the attack are still dubious till today, America was quick enough then to connect the attack with self-styled “Islamic State” (IS) so that her evil war could be extended to Bangladesh as well. The then United States Secretary of State John Kerry categorically said in his visit to Bangladesh on August 29, 2016 that there was ‘no argument’ about the connection of IS to the attack (The Daily Star, August 30, 2016). And the immediate impact of the Gulshan cafe attack for Bangladesh was to come under several counter-terrorism cooperation pacts with America and her regional allies – clear evidence that America was at the beneficial end after the said café attack.

Like all her counterparts of other Islamic lands, Sheikha Hasina is also aiding the Crusader America in her war against the Ummah. Apart from collaborating with America with various military and intelligence sharing pacts, she is actively playing her part in this war of our enemy by labeling the truthful and non-violent activists of Hizb ut Tahrir as ‘terrorists’ and having them arrested by draconian anti-terrorism laws. With all these arrests, persecutions and propaganda against the sincere works for the reestablishment of the second righteous Khilafah (Caliphate), Hasina is fanning the flames of Islamophobia here in Bangladesh to keep the Ummah separated from the movement of the Khilafah.

But even after all these desperate attempts to extinguish the call of the Khilafah in Bangladesh by giving it the false tag of terrorism, people in Bangladesh have accepted the call wholeheartedly. People are now politically aware more than ever before; especially, about the true political solution of Islam which can really bring change. The only solution to uproot all the Western conspiracies for the people is to be more active on the field together with the courageous Hizb ut Tahrir to expose these conspiracies, challenge openly the corrupt motive of the government to strengthen western ‘War on Islam’, and call the family members and friends who are in the military to give ‘nusrah’ (material power) to Hizb ut Tahrir to bring the end of western hegemony in our land by reestablishing the rightly guided Khilafah.
