Kamala’s Visit in Africa Meant for Exploitation and Crippling of Social System
News:
On 26th March 2023, United States Vice President Kamala Harris arrived in Accra, Ghana to commence her three countries tour in Africa. She then visited Tanzania and Zambia thereafter. Being the 18th and most senior United States official to visit Africa this year she landed Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on 29/03/2023 for three days’ visit.
Comment:
During her visit in Tanzania, Vice President Kamala Harris made clear that her visit would focus among other things strengthening of democracy and democratic aspirations, especially “of the people” of Africa and particularly Tanzania.
From this statement, the United States is sending a message on her commitment to support democratic evil ideas including LGBTQ in Tanzania and Africa in general.
Before coming Tanzania, Vice President Kamala has spoken out for LGBTQ rights while visiting Ghana, where legislation that would impose harsh punishments for LGBTQ is in the process. At a joint press conference with Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, she confidently said:
“I feel very strongly about the importance of supporting the freedom and supporting the fighting for equality among all people, and that all people be treated equally” "I will also say that this is an issue that we consider and I consider to be a human rights issue, and that will not change.”
In Tanzania Kamala approved $1 billion for women empowerment programs. Thus, it is undoubtedly that among other objective of Harris’s visit in Africa is to strengthen a mission to destroy social system by disintegration of family values and motivating LGBTQ agenda.
Also, Kamala’s visit came just three months after the US-Africa Leaders Summit, held in December 2022 while also President Samia earlier made an official visit to China’s President Xi Jinping in November 2022. Undoubtedly, China has invested heavily in Tanzania and Africa generally in the last two decades. So, this tour is part of America’s strategy to counter growing Chinese influence in Tanzania and the continent at large.
Furthermore, Kamala’s visit aimed at strengthening colonization and exploitation of Tanzania’s resources especially mines. America is currently on construction of processing facility for minerals which are used to produce electric vehicle batteries. Kamala said: “This will deliver battery-grade nickel to the United States and global markets as soon as 2026. This project is an important and pioneering model, using innovative and low-emission technology.... Importantly, raw minerals will soon be processed in Tanzania, by Tanzanians. It will help address the climate crisis, build resilient global supply chains, and create new industries and jobs...There is so much potential for growth here” (White House, Remarks by Vice President Harris and President Samia Suluhu Hassan of Tanzania at Joint Press Statements, March 30, 2023).
In short Kamala’s visit to Tanzania and in Africa generally would only benefit the United States capitalist agenda and pushes Tanzania and Africa to endless loans, underdevelopment, exploitation and dependency, while in social perspective meant to ruin family and spreading of unspeakable evil of LGBTQ.
