Moscow Police Disrupt Friday Prayers!

14 July, the news agency Lenta.ru reported: “In Dzerzhinsky near Moscow, police officers burst into the place of Muslims performing namaz and were caught on video. The recording was published by the Telegram channel “Podyem”.

In the footage, believers are indignant that law enforcers ask them to show their documents right during prayer. One of the parishioners of the prayer house reaches out his hand to the weapon of one of the officers. "You should not touch the weapon with your hands. (...) stand back," the policeman orders the people surrounding him. In response, another man present in the room states that it was part of the prayer.

After the incident, the Muslim community of the Kotelniki urban district recorded a video appeal in which they accused the law enforcers of disrespecting the worshippers. According to them, the officers insulted the worshippers, scolding them and using physical force. In addition, the police officers did not remove their shoes, notes the man who recorded the video. According to him, the incident caught on video took place during Friday prayers. "Vladimir Vladimirovich! We appeal to you for protection, we ask you to intervene in this situation, “the video says.”

After a video appeal to Vladimir Putin made by local nationalists in May in social networks of the Internet, demanding to deal with migrant workers who allegedly cause rampant crime in the capital of the country, the police and riot police started to persecute migrants from Central Asia. At the same time, the media spread information about various crimes involving migrant workers. The riot police carried out searches, registration checks and arrests in sports clubs and various hostels. Among them were Muslims visiting mosques in the capital.

This is not the first time that the Kremlin authorities have used nationalism as a tool to pressure migrants, Central Asian rulers and presidents. In particular, reports of crimes committed by migrants from Tajikistan have recently increased. They are accused of almost all possible crimes committed in Moscow, from theft, murder to rape.

The recent attacks on mosques, as well as the persecution of migrant workers - Muslims from Central Asia - is one of the Kremlin's ways of recruiting soldiers for the war with Ukraine. Migrant workers are the most vulnerable, with no rights and no relatives who will demand accountability and compensation from the authorities. They are easily coerced into going to war. After raids on mosques, sports clubs and hostels, they are arrested and given an ultimatum: go to war, then get documents and permission to live in Russia. They are also promised a large sum of money, which no one has ever received. This was repeatedly reported by news agencies, including Radio Liberty.

The abuse of Muslims in Russia, the interruption of Friday prayers, the closure of mosques, torture and insults against defenceless migrant workers, is due to the lack of their defender Imam and their Righteous Islamic state Khilafah (Caliphate). Our rulers, corrupt and cowardly serve the interests of their masters. These tyrant rulers rob their people, plunder natural resources, selling them for next to nothing to disbelieving colonisers, forcing young boys and girls to seek their livelihood far away in foreign countries.

Muslims! Why do you need to go to distant countries in search of work!? The solution to economic, social, cultural and political problems is in Islam! It is enough to tolerate tyrant rulers who do not rule by law of Allah! Hasten to revive the Righteous State of Khilafah (Caliphate) led by a righteous ruler! The Almighty Allah said in His Noble Book:

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ]

“O you who have faith! If you help Allah, He will help you and make your feet steady” [47:7].
