Nothing Less than the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood can Lift the Hopes of our Armed Forces

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Asim Munir paid tribute to the nation’s founding fathers, emphasizing the significance of Independence Day and the spirit behind the creation of Pakistan “rooted in the ideology of the Two Nation Theory” and stressing that the country knew how to defend its hard-earned freedom. Thus, General Asim Munir attempted to give hope to the armed forces at a time of great despair and frustration. However, he remained unsuccessful in inspiring his audience.
Contrary to what he said, the people actually wanted to hear that the time has finally arrived to live up to the spirit of the creation of country. When the people say, “What is the objective of Pakistan? There is no god but Allah (swt),” (Pakistan Ka Matlab Kya, Laillaha-illalah), they want Pakistan to be the platform for the global dominance of Islam.
The military officers wanted to hear that rather than wasting time with the United Nation’s resolutions, they must now mobilize for the liberation of Kashmir from the brutal Indian occupation. They wanted to hear a declaration of Jihad in the Path of Allah (swt) to unleash their actual strength against the enemies of Allah (swt), so as to earn the pleasure of Allah (swt).
They wanted to hear that the War of Fitna in the tribal areas is ending after two decades by cleansing the land of all intelligence operatives of the East and the West, led by the US military and intelligence.
They wanted to hear that instead of discussing pro-Indian energy projects, the project of the unification of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asian States, as a single Islamic State has begun. The Khilafah will combine the enormous resources of the Islamic Ummah to solve the economic and security issues in the region.
They wanted to hear that the arch-rival India will no longer be given respite, whilst the orders of the US to exercise restraint are to be henceforth ignored. They want to hear orders to dismantle the hostile Hindu authority, thus liberating the Muslim Lands under its control. Indeed, this is the only way to halt India’s rise as a regional power and a growing threat to the region’s Muslims.
They wanted to hear that no partnership and cooperation with China is possible, because it wages war on the Muslims under its authority.
They wanted to hear that instead of merely building good, brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, Qatar and Iran, seeking petty economic benefits, they are all to be unified under the authority of a single Khaleefah. Indeed, it is the Khilafah that will rise on the globe stage as the new super power to defend Muslims, and ensure dominance of Islam.
Instead of asking them to continue to serve under the current corrupt and dysfunctional system, they wanted to hear that they must now give sacrifices under the leadership of a rightly guided Khaleefah, who will lead them in battle, martyrdom and victory.
Instead of giving false hopes of a brighter future under the Western colonialist order and inciting the patriotic bond under the nation state construct, they wanted to hear that they are strongly bonded in the everlasting and divine ideological bond of Islam, as a brotherhood of the believers.
Instead of making them pursue the Western capitalist system and dictates of the American world order, they wanted to hear that the Help and Nasr of Allah (swt) is sought actively, whilst striving for dominance of an Islamic world order, through Jihad in the Path of Allah (swt).
O Armed Forces of Pakistan! So that you hear, what you want to hear, grant your Nussrah to Hizb ut Tahrir for the re-establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood. Allah (swt) said,
[إِن يَنصُرۡكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمۡ وَإِن يَخۡذُلۡكُمۡ فَمَن ذَا ٱلَّذِي يَنصُرُكُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ]
If Allah (swt) helps you none shall prevail over you. If He forsakes you then who can help you? It is in Allah (swt) that the believers should put their trust.” [TMQ Surah Aali-Imran 3:160].
