O Armies of the Islamic Ummah! Revive the Spirit of Badr. Mobilize in Support of Gaza

Middle East Eye reported on 14 March 2024, “Dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured by ‘Israeli’ helicopter fire on Thursday evening while they were awaiting aid in northern Gaza, several news outlets have reported. A journalist with Al Jazeera Arabic reported that nearly fifty Palestinians were killed. Several news outlets also reported that dozens more were injured.” [middleeasteye]

Comment:

The latest brutal massacre came amidst calls for the Muslims of Palestine to break the tight restrictions of the Jewish entity on Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.

Abdullah ibn Umar reported: I saw the Messenger of Allah (saw) performing Tawaaf around the Ka’bah and saying,

«مَا أَطْيَبَكِ وَأَطْيَبَ رِيحَكِ مَا أَعْظَمَكِ وَأَعْظَمَ حُرْمَتَكِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَحُرْمَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ حُرْمَةً مِنْكِ مَالِهِ وَدَمِهِ وَأَنْ نَظُنَّ بِهِ إِلَّا خَيْرًا»

“How pure you are and how pure is your fragrance! How great you are and how great is your sanctity! By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the sanctity of the believer is greater to Allah than your sanctity, in his wealth, his life, and to assume nothing of him but good.” [Sunan Ibn Mājah]

We understand just how precious Muslim blood is, by raising its sanctity higher than even that of the Noble Ka’aba. It is not something to be wasted. It is not something for us to be silent about. It is not something for our armies to remain in barracks. As for calling on the Muslims of Palestine to face the Zionist occupying forces alone, it is meaningless, without calling for the entire Ummah, and its millions of military troops to do the same.

O Armies of the Ummah! How many of our Palestinian brothers, sisters and children are you willing to lose, whilst the world watches and whilst your sinful inaction is being recorded? The sanctity of each martyr in Palestine is greater than that of the Noble Kaaba. It is as if the Kaaba has been destroyed tens of thousands times.Now it is as if it is being destroyed during Ramadan, the month of victories, the month of Badr, Conquest of Makkah, Conquest of Jerusalem and the Ein Jaloot.

Surely, any call to action must be based on the Islamic Shari’ah. Palestine is occupied Muslim Land. The obligation on the Ummah, and its most capable sons, you, O armies, is to remove the occupation. Look to the method and the best way as defined by Islam. There is no other way.  What is obliged is to send in the Muslim armies to fight armies, and secure the safety of civilians. The Prophet Muhammad (saw) took an army to fight in Badr. When the Battle of the Confederates took place, the women and children were secured as a priority. Armies fight armies. As for the head of state and the commander of the army, Muhammad al-Mustafa (saw), he led in battle.  Your model of a true warrior is the Prophet (saw). His Sunnah is revelation for you to follow. Anyone who neglects his Sunnah is lost.

O Muslims! The call to the armies of Muslims to mobilize is reverberating across the Muslims of the world. We are shocked that the fear of Allah’s wrath is not enough to make our sons in the armies leave their barracks and disobey the illegitimate Muslim Rulers. In the blessed month of Ramadan, we pray for the sincere Muslim soldiers to stand for the Haqq, and to move. Do not leave any of those you know in the armies. Inspire the officers and soldiers to fulfill their duty. Islamic history is full of examples of our heroes, who moved to defend and protect the Ummah to fulfil their Islamic obligation. In the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet (saw) was protected by a group of brave Muslims, which included a woman, Nusaybah bint Ka’ab (ra). If this is how are women are, so how must our men be?!

We pray to see this Imaan and bravery exhibited soon. The armies of Muslims must mobilize to save our remaining brothers and sisters and their children. They must remove any ruler who gets in their way. They must grant their nusrah, material support, for the re-establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah. They must ensure that once again we have the sincere legitimate ruler who obeys Allah (swt) and establishes our Deen on earth.  Such a ruler is the shield of the Muslims.
