The Orphans of Gaza Shed Tears for Absent Parents and Hunger Pains on the day of Eid

News:

8 months into the new phase of occupation actions, UNICEF estimates that at least 17,000 children in Gaza are unaccompanied or separated from their families. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the head of the UN World Health Organization, warned that “a significant proportion of Gaza’s population is now facing catastrophic hunger and famine-like conditions. “Despite reports of increased delivery of food, there is currently no evidence that those who need it most are receiving sufficient quantity and quality of food”. To date, more than 8,000 youngsters have been diagnosed and treated for acute malnutrition, including 1,600 children with the most dangerous form of the condition.

Comment:

In the last 8 months the women and children of Gaza have faced the greatest test since the occupation of the Jewish entity. We are witnessing the signs of the end times. It's urgent that we, as Muslim women who are not directly in the land of occupation, do our responsibility to Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw). Our accountability is great, and the test may not be physical with starvation, bombs and loss of children, but the test is one of Iman and Aqeeda. The access to Jannah can be defined by how we align ourselves with the commands of Allah (swt) to respond to the call of dawah and the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) as an authority that will serve the Quran and Sunnah, not the colonialist agenda of Western hegemony. The women and children of Gaza are going to be forgiven for what they cannot do. Their weakness and lack of resources is not their crime to bear.

However, we as the Ummah who profess to be part of the global body of Muslims united by Shehada, we cannot deny that this catastrophe requires action and not just dua’.  In Holy Quran, Allah Almighty says:

[إِنَّ اللّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاء ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاء وَالْمُنكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ]

“Indeed, Allah commands justice, good conduct (Ihsan), and giving to relatives (and He) forbids immorality, bad conduct, and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded” [16:90].

We pray to Allah (swt) that this is the last Eid that we have to witness such oppression of our Ummah globally and that the relief, justice and dignity of the Ummah is seem under the shade of the Amir of the Muslims. Ameen.
