The Global Power Struggle Offers No Benefit to Humanity
News:
China and Russia have ramped up joint military drills, including the recent “Ocean-2024” exercises involving 90,000 troops and 500 ships and aircraft. These drills signal the strengthening of military cooperation between the two nations amidst rising global tensions, such as Russia's war in Ukraine and China's aggressive stance in the South China Sea and Taiwan. While China and Russia are not formal allies, their collaboration has grown over the past decade, raising concerns in Washington about a potential joint military response. Experts, however, believe that while the two nations share overlapping interests, they do not have fully aligned strategic goals. Their relationship is marked by non-alignment and mutual wariness, with each nation pursuing its own geopolitical interests. Despite this, their military coordination sends a strong message to the U.S. and its allies, suggesting that any challenge to one could risk a joint response, though full-scale military cooperation remains unlikely. Comment:
The joint military exercises conducted by Russia and China indicate a shared interest between these two countries in confronting the Western coalition, led by the United States and its allies.
The United States has long sought to curb Russia’s influence in Europe, particularly in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Similarly, the U.S. aims to contain China's rise. Both Russia and China are emerging as the primary contenders to challenge U.S. global dominance, given their significant economic and military potential.
Recognizing this potential, the United States has attempted to undermine the political growth of both countries in order to weaken its global hegemony. Russia faces pressure through NATO’s expansion into Eastern Europe, while China is challenged by issues related to the South China Sea and Taiwan.
Despite their competition to become the dominant global power, the United States, China, and Russia share a common characteristic: none of them bring genuine benefits to humanity. Each of these countries has a track record of human rights violations, as seen in Russia’s actions in Syria, China’s treatment of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, and the U.S. involvement in numerous Muslim-majority countries.
Therefore, regardless of which nation prevails over the others, none will contribute positively to the future of the world.
As for the Muslim world, there is no indication that it is poised to become a key player in seizing global power from the U.S. However, it is the Islamic Ummah that holds the potential, given its correct ideology and positive historical legacy. The main task of the Muslim Ummah today is to restore Islamic authority that will eventually challenge U.S. political dominance. Until that time comes, the world will continue to be contested by oppressive and tyrannical powers.
