Comment:

In the second half of April, the attention of many European politicians and news outlets was turned to the problem of illegal migration from the Middle Eastern and African countries to the EU. Pretext for this was formed by tragic incidents when many immigrants died in the Mediterranean Sea. On the 14th of April, 400 people died, on the 16th - 41 people died, and on 19th April the largest catastrophe with boats overcrowded with illegal migrants happened, when over 700 people died.

20th April, Ministers of Internal and Foreign Affairs of EU approved a 10-point plan to overcome critical situations with immigrants, these points include: increasing financing efforts against illegal migration, seizure and destruction of smugglers' sea vessels, fingerprinting of immigrants, organization of common processing of applications for getting refugee status and etc.

If we examine all the measures that were approved by EU leadership to avoid such tragedies in the Mediterranean Sea, it becomes obvious, that these steps have nothing to do with a real overcoming of this problem, since they target consequences of this problem, but not the real cause.

Real solution for migration from Africa and Middle East is the stopping of instability that takes place in these regions for many decades. Colonization of Africa from the beginning of 20th century and colonization of Middle East after destruction of Ottoman Caliphate has resulted to constant contest between European superpowers for possessing enormous resources of these countries. Colonialists skillfully initiated coups, killings, civil wars, conflicts on ethnical, territorial, religious and sectarian basis, which aimed to maintain own domination in these countries.

For instance, until the 70's of the 20th century one of the biggest countries of Middle East - Iraq and Syria were crippled by successive coups, as a result of struggle between America and Britain. In order to understand the scale of instability created by these superpowers, it will be enough to mention, that in 1949 Syria witnessed 3 coups.

In the 70's under supervision of superpowers, dictators came to power in all the larger countries of the Middle East. These dictatorships were based on a huge military and repressive machine, which allowed them to be in power until the beginning of Arab Spring at the end of 2010.
After the beginning of Arab Spring, western leaders hypocritically "forgot" how they supported and were friendly with abovementioned dictators in their attempt to stop people in the region from returning to an Islamic form of governance. They started to blame their old friends and accuse them of oppression of their own people, while demanding from them to resign. Taking advantage from the fact that political parties and movements that came to power in Middle East in the result of Arab Spring in Libya, Tunis, Yemen and Egypt lacked political consciousness, they could turn back revolutions in these countries.

This happened in all countries except Syria where America could not find a substitute for its devoted servant Bashar Assad. Because of it, America ordered him to suppress the revolution in any means, that resulted in hundreds of thousands of victims in the Syrian conflict.

Thereby the West which boasts of carrying progress and high values to the world, in the 100 years of sole predominance in the world brought nothing but destruction, suffering and demolition to Africa and Middle East, as well as to other parts of the world.

It is the criminal policy of America, Britain, France and Russia in the Middle East and Africa that created such conditions when people in these regions are forced to leave their homes, forced to pay big sums of money to smugglers and run risks when trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea in "death boats" seeking a better life.

And all that EU leaders can offer in this situation is confiscation and destruction of smugglers boats involved in illegal migration, take fingerprints of immigrants and send them back to their countries.

This is the real face of capitalism - an ideology which always tries to deal with consequences of a problem instead of dealing with its real cause. If the West really wants to solve the problem of illegal migration, it should undertake only one step - LEAVE AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST!

The Islamic Ummah that inhabits the Middle East is able to arrange its own affairs and return to a condition when this region was shaped with Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate", which was a beacon of justice, progress, technical development, peaceful coexistence of people with different religions and values in one state for more than 10 centuries.
