Strife in Muslim World Can Only be Settled by the Khilafah "Caliphate"

While Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif assured visiting Saudi Defence Minister Mohammad bin Salman on 10 January of “strong response” to threats to his country’s territorial integrity, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called for resolving its crisis with Iran through diplomacy and offered Pakistan’s good offices in this regard. “Pakistan has historically pursued the policy of promoting brotherhood among member states of the OIC. Pakistan has also always expressed its readiness to offer its good offices to brotherly Muslim countries for resolution of their differences,” the prime minister was quoted by his office as having told the Saudi deputy crown prince.

Debate is rife within Pakistan about perceived clashes between Iran and Saudi and picking sides, if any. People are alarmed by the Fitna, confusing them. Today, Muslim blood is not shed at the hands of the Western colonialists alone. Western agents and tools from among our own people fight amongst themselves shedding each other’s blood. Some of the naive Muslims join them in this, thinking they are participating in good. Thus they fight in Syria amongst themselves as one fights the worst of enemies. Likewise they fight in Iraq as if they are in the first Jahiliyya. So they fight fiercely in Libya and fight violently in Yemen and, to a lesser extent, in Egypt and Tunisia. This violence across these lands has witnessed immense crimes the like of which is unprecedented in Muslims fighting amongst themselves. Sadly, the condition of the Muslim World reverted us to the period of Jahiliyya that befell the Arabs, in which they fought amongst themselves both by their own invention and by their alliance to foreign powers. The Lakhmids in Iraq were allies of Persia, while the Ghassanids in Sham were allies of Rome. When the Romans were perturbed by the Persians or vice-versa the Lakhmids and Ghassanids would fight each other.

We will not see a clear path in the situation unless we return to the ruling by Islam. Islam alone will end our exploitation by foreign powers as well as our infighting. Islam illuminated the Arabian Peninsula and its surroundings, raising the people from their lowly thinking, unifying its people as one powerful state. Then came the Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah and afterwards the Khulafaa. Muslims saw peace in their lands, focussed on carrying Islam, spreading goodness in many parts of the world, from east to west, from Indonesia to the Atlantic. Pakistan must pick a side, but that does not mean between choosing between the existing Iranian and Saudi regimes, it must be choosing to implement Islam. Pakistan's immediate role must be to become the launching point to gather the Muslims upon one platform, the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood.

Begging for F-16s, Su-34s or J-10s will Never Strengthen Pakistan

The US Congress has stalled a planned sale of eight new F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan, although the Obama administration is still trying to undo the hold, congressional and diplomatic sources told Dawn, according to its story published on 12 January 2016. The hold reflects the growing anti-Pakistan sentiments on Capitol Hill where it is now a routine to see strong attacks on Pakistan and its policies during congressional hearings. “Those F-16s and the military equipment that we are providing Pakistan are being used against their own people, just like they did against the people over there in Bangladesh,” said Congressman Dan Rohrabacher.

Pakistan certainly needs a substantial fleet of fighters with BVR (Beyond Visual Range) capability. The question is where from? America is not an option. It is clear that dependence on America has only worsened our situation. It demanded critical logistics and intelligence to invade Afghanistan and Pakistan's yielded. It demanded our forces engage the tribal resistance to its forces and Pakistan's rulers yielded.

And now Pakistan's rulers are needing weaponry to fulfil American demands, they are like beggars at the side of a feast. Foreign dependence did not serve us well, yet is a disease within the current rulers. Even their alternatives to F-16's is more dependence to foreign powers. Russia’s Su-34 is floated as an option. Yes, Russia is not America, but as a foreign power it is also belligerent towards Muslims. Asides from Russia's close military ties with India, it is actively engaged in the slaughter and besieging of Muslims of Syria, bloodying its hands there as it did in Chechnya, the Caucasus and Afghanistan previously. Another option that is presented is that of China, the flavour of the month, and its Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) which jointly produced the JF17. Either we are to upgrade the JF-17 or seek more advanced Chinese jets like J 10 or the newly developed stealth air-crafts. This is even though China's enmity to Muslims is clearly seen in East Turkestan.

The current stance of the rulers towards China and Russia, is like the stance of the rulers in the time of Ayub Khan towards America. It is the same trap, building a case for dependence on foreign powers. What must be considered is that no foreign state ever got to be a major power by depending on others. Rather they established their state on a firm ideological basis to become a major power, with considerable military superiority as a natural outcome. In the case of China and Russia, it was Communism, whilst Capitalism was the foundation of the US global prowess. The Muslim World will always be on the sidelines unless we establish a state on an ideological basis. This can only occur if we return to the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood.

The Muslim Lands of Syria are not Foreign Soil

The Foreign Office shared with the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs on 12 January broad contours of Pakistan’s invo¬lvement in the Saudi-led 34-nation counter-terrorism coalition and said it would not entail deployment of troops on a foreign soil. The committee was given an in-camera briefing by the Foreign Office on the counter-terrorism coalition announced by Saudi Arabia and the diplomatic standoff between Iran and the kingdom which started with the execution of Saudi dissident Sheikh Nimr. In a late evening statement on the committee’s meeting, the Foreign Office said: “The facets of cooperation and different activities of the coalition will be decided after consultative meetings, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia in the near future.” “We want to send a clear message to our neighbour (Iran) that we are not trying to isolate anyone,” Mr Leghari said.

It is evident that regarding other Muslim Lands as "foreign," the regime confines its thinking regarding the affairs of Muslims to a narrow nationalist view, even though Pakistan was established in the name of Islam, as a platform for all Muslims. Moreover, their hypocrisy even in this stance is clear because they are always willing to shed the blood of our troops to achieve American dominance in any far flung corner of the world, under the flag of the United Nations or any other flag. Yet, they pour scorn on any suggestion of mobilizing for liberation of Muslim Lands, whether it was close, such as Kashmir, or further away, such as Masjid al-Aqsa or the centre of global intrigue today, Syria, where the major powers are bent on preventing the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood. Instead, the current will assist America by securing its bases, embassies and supply lines, but will never lift even a finger for the defense of Islam and Muslims.

Were Pakistan to become a real fortress for Islam, the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood, breaking free of any nationalist shackles, there would be a radical change. Islam views all the existing Muslim Lands as one, not foreign, and its immediate priority for the Khilafah "Caliphate" would be their unification as one state. It is upon us to ensure the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood so that our armed forces play their part in giving support to the people of Ash-Sham, which is the centre of the believers as the RasulAllah (saaw) said in praise of Ash-sham,

أَلاَ إِنَّ عُقْرَ دَارِ الإسلام الشَّامُ»»

“Verily, the centre of the believers' abode is Ash-Sham”.

And he (saaw) said,

«أَلاَ وَإِنَّ الإِيمَانَ حِينَ تَقَعُ الْفِتَنُ بِالشَّامِ»

“When the Ummah is tested the faith will be in Sham.” [Ahmed] And he صلى الله عليه وسلم said,

«يا طوبى للشام! يا طوبى للشام! يا طوبى للشام»، قالوا يا رسول الله وبم ذلك؟ قال «تلك ملائكة الله باسطوا أجنحتها على الشام»

“O bliss for Ash-Sham! O bliss for Ash-Sham! O bliss for Ash-Sham!” They asked, ‘O RasulAllah, why do you say that?’ He (saaw) said, “that angel of Allah has spread its wings all over Ash-Shaam.” [Tirmidhi]

Lying Down Before the Terrorist State, India, Will Never Secure Peace

Indian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup on 14 January during a press conference said the Indian government welcomes Pakistan's move to form a special investigation team to probe the Pathankot air base attack and will cooperate with Pakistan in the inquiry. "We look forward to the visit of the Pakistani Special Investigation Team (SIT). We will extend it our full cooperation," Swarup told reporters.

In the wake of the 2 January attack, the regime has chosen to lie down before Indian accusations. This is despite it being well-known that Indian agencies create havoc within Pakistan, from Baluchistan to Karachi, to the point that even the regime officials have raised involvement of Indian intelligence, RAW (Research and Analysis Wing). Yet, in all this time the regime has never made demands for investigations, nor has India ever formed enquiries into such attacks. Nor has India ever taken any measures against Hindu extremists such as Shiv Sena whose crimes against Muslims are well-known. And all this is asides from the horrendous conduct of the Indian occupation forces in Kashmir. Yet, the regime continues to choose to appease India.

Lying down before Indian demands will never bring peace. It must be treated on a war footing, crippling its ability to harm Pakistan. Its diplomatic presence within Pakistan must be eradicated, for it is a cover for intelligence activities. Economic ties with India must be severed, which will bear great pressure upon India over its occupation of Kashmir, for India's land trade access is all through Muslim Lands, whilst its energy starved industry jealously eyes the immense hydrocarbon wealth of the Ummah. This is asides from the essential political measure to curb the Indian menace, which is the serious work for the unification of the Muslim Lands as one state.

None of the necessary measures to face India will be accomplished by the current regime, because it is under the influence of America, which seeks the rise of India to challenge America's rival, China. Nothing short of the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood will rescue Pakistan from the path of humiliation before India.
