For a long time, America has sought to establish the ideology of a dictatorial state, positioning itself as both judge and executioner. This ambition was facilitated by the void left after the Soviet Union’s collapse and the end of the bipolar world order—a system that had challenged America’s top position and exerted significant influence over international decisions, thereby preventing complete U.S. global dominance. The dissolution of that rivalry created a vast vacuum, with even the second-place contender retreating entirely, leaving America enthroned as the world’s sole power without a real rival. It began to view the world as its own property, which led it to neglect developing nuanced strategies or diversifying its methods to counter states attempting to challenge its supremacy, such as China, Russia, and certain European countries.
America has systematically dismantled the European Union and has begun draining the remaining influence of Europe’s international institutions, such as the International Criminal Court. On October 9, 2026, France 24 reported that America announced sanctions against the International Criminal Court. Its Secretary of State, Rubio, stated that Washington would ban dealings with what he described as the “rogue” court, escalating a long-standing campaign initiated by the Trump administration against The Hague-based institution. Rubio declared in a statement, “Either the ICC will end its threats, or we will end the ICC.” He emphasized, “President Trump will never allow the International Criminal Court to prosecute Americans,” adding that these measures would cut off the court’s resources and cripple its operational capabilities. Rubio also called on America’s allied nations—which rely on U.S. military forces for their defense—to restrain the court, warning that Washington would continue working to dismantle the International Criminal Court brick by brick if they did not.
The Trump administration had previously imposed sanctions on key individuals at the International Criminal Court, including the Prosecutor and several judges, in response to the court’s investigations concerning America and the Jewish entity—both non-member states. In contrast, the European Union described America’s sanctions as deeply regrettable and stressed its readiness to take any necessary measures to enable the court to continue its work.
The International Criminal Court was established in 2002 under the multilateral Rome Statute. It is the first permanent international court with judicial jurisdiction to prosecute individuals for international crimes: genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and the crime of aggression.
Rubio’s statements reveal a long-term scheme America is implementing in a new operation to eliminate British influence. Britain, representing the Old Continent despite its exit from the European Union, established this criminal institution to deceive the world with slogans of human rights and purported values. In reality, it aimed to one day criminalize America for its dirty deeds against the world’s peoples, hoping to win global sympathy for Europe and pull the rug out from under America’s feet—if only through embarrassment. The American administration encouraged Britain’s exit to weaken the European Union, reminding Britain of its former glory and suggesting it was too significant to dissolve into a bloc that would become a forgotten relic. America exploited the Europeans’ emotional divisions and hollow nationalism, all while being acutely aware that the criminal court was not under its control and ultimately operated against its interests.
America’s arrogance is rooted in its capitalist ideology, which professes to uphold human rights, prevent crimes against humanity and senseless wars, and hold perpetrators accountable. Yet it has become evident that the laws it enacted and the organizations it established were merely meant to throw dust in people’s eyes. The corrupt capitalist ideology has exposed the falsity of America’s criminal conduct, as seen in its withdrawal from every major human rights, environmental, health, or other international agency or organization.
The nature of the conflict lies at the core of the ideology among those who share it; each lies in wait for the other’s downfall. They are indifferent to the collapse of their own values and convictions, which has led to America being fashioned into a quintessentially dictatorial state. Its current practices against peoples—killing and supporting injustice in a clear and scandalous manner—are so blatant that even some of its allies within the same ideology have denounced it. Examples include its open support for the Jews in the genocide in Gaza, its war against Iran, its engineering of the war in Ukraine with Russia, its kidnapping of the President of Venezuela, the Epstein crimes, its collaboration with Russia, Iran, and Türkiye in killing the people of Syria to preserve its agent Bashar Al-Assad, as well as igniting the war in Sudan, and funding the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (An-Nahda Dam), which causes thirst for the people of Egypt and Sudan. Thus, America exposes itself, strips away any pretense of human value, and perpetuates injustice in the crudest manner.
O people of military power and protection in the lands of the Muslims: look at the state of your Ummah, for the flood has reached its peak. Move to support your Ummah, and give your support to Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood, to deliver it from the oppression of America. There is no hope in the institutions of the world, which were built upon injustice and which America has now begun to dismantle, stripping them even of their appearance and their false slogans.
