CONCLUDING REMARKS FOR WOMEN AND SHARIAH CONFERENCE
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
My dearest sisters, we have gathered today at this unprecedented, momentous conference, from different corners of the world, speaking in different languages but united with ONE voice and united with ONE message... that as Muslim women we do not see the Shariah as the cause of our subjugation but the path to our salvation from oppression, and the means to gain the Pleasure of our Rabb (swt), Al-Alim, Al-Azim, the One Who Alone possesses All-Knowledge and All-Awareness to organize the affairs of humanity - male and female - in a manner to ensure justice and harmony for all.
Indeed sisters, Allah (swt) has honoured us as women with Islam. Through His Laws, He raised our station and privileges to a level unrivalled in cultures and civilizations - past and present, bestowing upon us a status of the utmost protection, care and attention. He blessed us with a Shariah in which our dignity is treated as more precious than all the treasures of the world, where our financial provision is guaranteed; and that does not accept that we suffer a single day of struggle to secure our rights. And through the implementation of these laws under the rule of the glorious Khilafah "Caliphate", the woman gained a standing that became the envy of women in nations across the world.
So looking around us today dear sisters, at the desperate lives and deplorable conditions that the daughters of this Ummah are forced to endure, it breaks the heart. It truly BREAKS the heart, to know of the high station in life that the Lord of the Worlds has demanded should be rightfully theirs to enjoy every single day of their lives, and then to witness the unbearable state that has become theirs in the absence of the implementation of the Shariah and the absence of their guardian, shield and protector, the Khilafah "Caliphate".
And sisters, it is these sordid lies about our position as women in Islam and under Islamic rule that has helped to bring us to this point and helped to keep us at this point, away from the very system that will lift us from this oppression and establish for us a dignified existence. But the broken lives that so many of our sisters endure today is also the result of the broken promises of the secular system with its feminist movements and ideas of gender equality and liberal freedoms, that promised us the world but delivered us dust!
However sisters, WE have the ability to help bring an end to all of this; to bring hope to this Ummah and its daughters when there was once nothing but despair; to bring light when there was only darkness. How? By shattering these lies, exposing the false feminist promises, and presenting the truth regarding the Shariah and what it truly offers to women.
So, let us no longer accept for these secular myths and fantasies regarding Islam to be the lens through which the world views us and by which we view our own culture, history and rule. Let us no longer accept for this blanket of deceit to be used to conceal the beauty of our Deen and what it truly brings to women. And let us no longer accept for our beliefs to be judged and reformed according to the flawed principle of gender equality, or for feminist agendas to erode the sublime Islamic social values and laws within our communities. Rather, let us stand firmly against such movements and call for these Islamic values and laws, along with all the rulings of the Islamic Shariah to be implemented in our Muslim lands under the shade of the glorious State of the Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah on the method of the Prophethood once again InshaAllah.
Dear sisters, those of you who have attended today have much influence in your community, some of you even have a voice in the media, which means by the Blessing of Allah (swt) you have even more ability to make your voice heard, to make your opinion known, and to make your voice matter. So we ask you to please use this blessing that Allah (swt) has given you to achieve this aim, to spread far and wide what you have heard today as well as the contents of our campaign. And with this, we pray that Allah (swt) honours you dear sisters with the great reward and the immense honour of helping to open a new chapter of dignity and justice for this Ummah and its daughters. Ameen.
I would like to end by saying Jazakunullahu Khair to those of you who have attended this event today across the world, as well as those who have watched the conference online. I pray that as we have been brought together today, we will also be brought together soon under the Rayat al-Uqab InshaAllah. I would also like to say Jazakumullahu Khair to those many brothers and sisters from across the globe who have worked so hard in the organization of this event, with special thanks to the sisters of the Women's Section in the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir who have worked tirelessly to make this campaign and conference a success, and whose unwavering dedication to this dawah inspires me daily. And finally I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, Sheikh Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah for his dedicated support in the organization of this event. May Allah reward you all brothers and sisters, may He allow you to witness the fruits of your efforts soon through the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate", and may He make your actions heavy on your scale of good deeds in the Akhira. Ameen.
