The Tajik Authorities have taken all the money from their own people
National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) ordered credit institutions of the republic starting February 2, 2016 to issue money transfers in the national currency received in the Russian rubles. According to AP news agency the relevant regulation, which is already being implemented, presented to all credit institutions. The source noted that the order concerns only the transfers in Russian rubles, it does not apply to other foreign currencies. "The order provides for the grant in somoni transfers made by individuals in rubles, which are made without opening a bank account", - have explained in NBT.
It should be noted that to date the official exchange rate of the Russian currency was set at 0.1028 somoni per 1 ruble. On the black market the same for 1 Russian ruble in according to the region the people can get from 0.105 (in the north of the country) to 0,106 somoni (Dushanbe). As estimated by experts, based on the rate set by the NBT which used on the black markets, losses of remittance recipients in Tajikistan (and the benefits of the banking sector) due to the difference a year can reach 2.8-4 billion rubles (about 35-50 million dollars).
We will note that in the context of the economic crisis in Russia, the life of Tajik migrant workers have worsened significantly. It is connected to the following factors: increasing of the monthly advance payment for the patent (the work permit), demand reduction of the migrant labor, the lack of indexation of salary, increase of food prices and the adoption of various laws, complicating the life of migrant workers in Russia. For example, wages of migrant workers in Russia is about 25,000 thousand rubles. A monthly expenses are composed of 4,200 rubles for a patent, at least 4,000 rubles for accommodation, about 2000 rubles for traveling, at least 4000 rubles for food and 1,000 rubles for other incidentals. As a result, migrant workers in Russia remains a maximum of 10,000 rubles to send money to his family back home. It is natural that this money is not enough to meet the needs of the family, because the monthly living wage for a family consisting of 5 persons in Tajikistan is 12,000 rubles, only basic needs will be met in this case.
And the wage in Tajikistan is not more than 7000 in terms of Russian rubles, not to mention the fact that finding a job is considered to be a big success, because of at the country's unemployment reigns. Thus, against the background of a permanent economic crisis in Tajikistan, and of the recently launched crisis in Russia, which are already very complicate the lives of the people, the Tajik authorities, rather than to support the people, on the contrary, on various pretexts trying to take away their hard-earned money.
It is obvious that as long as these unholy ruling on non-Islamic laws rulers as Emomali Rakhmonov will be in power, people in Tajikistan will continue to be in humiliation and suffering, because Rakhmonov only thinks about himself and the improvement of life of his numerous family than he, in fact, engaged in.
