Press Conference in Port Sudan

"The Solution Comes from Within"

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan held a successful press conference entitled: “The Sudanese Crisis...the Solution Comes from Within,” on Thursday, 8 Dhul-Qi’dah 1445 AH corresponding to 16 May 2024 CE, in the conference hall, at the Al-Basiri Plaza Hotel in Port Sudan.

The hall was overflowing with media professionals and journalists, with an elegant presence from a number of mayors, supervisors, scholars, and those interested in public affairs, who were welcomed by the platform officer, Ahmed Abkar, a lawyer and a member of the Council of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Sudan.

The Hizb began the conference with verses from the Holy Quran, which dealt with issues of governance, its danger and importance, recited by Sheikh Yusuf Zakaria Adam.

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan presented a paper that diagnosed the crisis that the country is going through and presented radical solutions to it. The paper, which was read by the Hizb’s assistant official spokesman, Ust. Muhammad Jami’ (Abu Ayman), described that this catastrophic and senseless war and its accompanying devastation, destruction, displacement of the country’s people, and economic collapse are due to its reasons for a political conflict are primarily caused by the international struggle for influence between the colonial powers of America and Britain, where America instructed its agents of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the armed forces to ignite the war to exclude British agents who constitute the civil forces, especially the Forces of Freedom and Change (shameless), who were close to power, and near control of the military forces if they succeed in implementing the Framework Agreement that aims to structure the military and security establishment so that its management is under the civilian forces. Then the paper discussed the tribal and racial tensions that resulted from this war, based on which people lined up and which was a motive for shedding forbidden blood, so a Muslim made it permissible for a Muslim to shed his Muslim brother’s blood.

The Hizb stressed that the cause of the crises is the colonial democratic capitalist system and that these crises can only be solved by the Aqeedah (creed) of the people of the country and the great system of Islam, which is the rule of the Lord of the Worlds.

The Hizb demonstrated that the solution lies in establishing the Islamic State, the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate), upon the method of the Prophethood, by giving bayah (pledging allegiance) to a caliph who will establish the Deen and apply the Sharia. The paper explained that not working to establish the Caliphate is a grave sin, as the Prophet (saw) said: «مَنْ مَاتَ وَلَيْسَ فِي عُنُقِهِ بَيْعَةٌ مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً»“Whoever dies without a bayah on his neck dies a death of Jahilliyeh (pre-Islamic times).” The bayah is only to the caliph of the Muslims on earth.
