Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia: Press Conference

"The Project Able to Bring Tunisia out of the Crisis System"

Thursday, 2 July 2020, the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia held a press conference titled "The Project Able to Bring Tunisia out of the Crisis System" at its headquarters located at the Sakra-Ariana junction in the capital.

The conference began with Ustaadh Khabib Karbaka addressing the crisis of governance in Tunisia, where he showed that colonial guardianship is the basis of all misfortune and that the matter goes beyond all people and is not confined to one of them. Karbaka also pointed out that the crisis deepens with the presence of a political milieu that does not think outside the intellectual and political frameworks set by the West, and does not see an exit to save the country economically except with more borrowing and mortgaging from the foreigner (IMF).

Then the Head of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia, Dr. Assad Al-Ajili, gave a keynote speech in which he talked about the faces of colonial rulers’ subjugation, whether by the government whose president insists on the policy of indebtedness, or from the parliament, who does not see any embarrassment in approving the creation of a branch of the Francophone. In Tunisia, a mother from the head of state who came to one of the elders when he considered French colonialism a “protection” and considered this a shameful line in the history of Tunisia.

Dr. Assad Al-Ajili called for adopting the option of Islam as a basis for change and an alternative to the current systems and for putting it into practice and implementation within a civilized project that ends the crisis system by establishing the Khilafah State (Caliphate), Allah willing.
