"Ramadan Time of Unity 2017" Traditional Iftar Organisation by Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Turkey

Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Turkey held its traditional annual iftar under the title “Ramadan Time of Unity 2017”, which was attended by a great number of representatives of politics, NGOs and media, as well as journalists, businessmen, academicians, and authors. The iftar organisation took place in Istanbul's Fatih district.

Mahmut Kar, Head of Media Office in Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Turkey held a short address, stating the following:

“When talking of “Ramadan Time of Unity” we mean the unity of our hearts, of our ideas, of our Ummah and our states, as well as taking joint actions...”

Among the guests, who also held short addresses were chairman of Mazlumder, researcher and writer Mehmet Pamak, generaldirector of Doğru Haber Newspaper Abdullah Aslan, researcher and writer Mustafa Özcan, writer at Haksöz News Hamza Türkmen and others. They all highlighted the current situation and injustice that Muslims face, while expressing their thanks to Hizb ut Tahrir for the emphasis on the unity and brotherhood.
