On the 5th of December, 2012, in its new yearly report, Transparency International, an organization which does research and publishes reports on corruption, has titled Afghanistan, Somalia and North Korea the most corrupt countries of the world. The report published in 2012, Afghanistan, Somalia and North Korea got eight marks out of a hundred, and however, in the year 2011 and 2010 Afghanistan's position was listed as second receiving 15 and 11 marks respectively.

Global Corruption Remains High in 2012 despite Arab Spring:
Corruption in the public sector showed no sign of retreating in 2012 despite citizen uprisings that toppled several leaders of graft-ridden governments the previous year, a leading watchdog said on Wednesday as it released its annual ranking of countries based on perceived corruption. Transparency International, which fights corruption worldwide, said two-thirds of the 176 countries it surveyed performed poorly, falling below the 50 percent mark on its Corruption Perceptions Index. The index rates countries from zero to 100 percent in terms of corruption, with zero being the most corrupt. Cobus de Swardt, managing director of Transparency International, called urgently to translate activism into political action against corruption. "We do not see a general trend of an en masse, positive move of countries around the world to embrace greater public accountability," he told TrustLaw. "In that sense, it is largely disappointing that the outcry across the world over corrupt governments and the public sector and the abuse of power has not been translated yet into political action," de Swardt added. Only three countries - Denmark, Finland and New Zealand - were listed as "very clean" the same ones that won top rankings in 2011 thanks to strong access to government information and enforcement of rules governing public officials, Transparency International said. North Korea and Somalia clung to the bottom of the index as the most corrupt countries in the world. This year they were joined by Afghanistan. The index draws on surveys measuring perceived openness of government, enforcement of laws against fraud, bribery and corruption and business views on corruption. Still, the broad picture that emerges is one that shows barely any improvements, even in the Arab Spring countries where citizen uprisings calling for greater accountability led to the overthrow of governments in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Yemen. Their rankings have essentially stagnated in the 21-41 percent range over the past year.
Assad Considers Political Asylum in Latin America if Toppled:
The embattled Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is considering the possibility to claim political asylum for himself, his family and his close circle in Latin America if he has to cede power, a newspaper reported Wednesday. "Syria's Deputy Foreign Minister held meetings in Cuba, Venezuela and Ecuador over the past week, and brought with him classified personal letters from Assad to local leaders," the Haaretz reported. Some Western and Arab countries have previously offered embattled Syrian President Assad to seek asylum and protection for his family if he leaves power. But the window of opportunity seems to be closing for him. On Wednesday, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon hinted that he would not favor an asylum deal for Assad as a way to end the country's civil war. Ban was asked Wednesday about the potential for such a deal. He refrained to comment directly on the matter but told The Associated Press that the United Nations doesn't allow anyone "impunity." Ban says "whoever commits (a) gross violation of human rights must be held accountable and should be brought to justice. This is a fundamental principle." Ban spoke on the sidelines of U.N. climate talks in Qatar. Assad vowed in an interview with Russia Today last month that he would never be forced into exile and that he would "live and die in Syria."
Jewish State Rejects UN Call for Nuclear Transparency:
The Jewish entity has rebuffed a UN call to adhere to the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and open itself to international inspectors, calling the suggestion a "meaningless mechanical vote" of a body that "lost all its credibility regarding the Jewish entity." In a 174-6 vote, the United Nations General Assembly demanded in a non-binding call that Tel Aviv join the NPT "without further delay," in an effort to create a legally binding nuclear-free Middle East. Washington, the Jewish entity's strongest ally surprised no one by voting against the resolution - but did approve two paragraphs that were voted on separately, which called for universal adherence to the NPT and for all non-signatory governments to join. The UN body "has lost all its credibility regarding The Jewish entity with these types of routine votes that are ensured passage by an automatic majority and which single out The Jewish entity," Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor was quoted by Jerusalem Post as saying. The Assembly's call on the Jewish entity comes days after a large majority of its members voted to grant Palestine statehood state status and just weeks after the escalation of violence between Gazans and the Jewish entity's occupation forces. Palmor stressed, however, that since the NPT vote takes place annually, the Palestinian victory is not connected.
NATO behind 'Insecurity' in Afghanistan, Karzai says:
Afghan President Hamid Karzai sharply criticized the United States in an exclusive interview with NBC News on Thursday, blaming American and NATO forces for some of the growing insecurity in his country. "Part of the insecurity is coming to us from the structures that NATO and America created in Afghanistan," Karzai said during a one-on-one interview at the presidential palace. However, he also acknowledged that much of the country's violence was caused by insurgent groups. The Taliban are regaining land and power lost after they were toppled by U.S.-backed forces in 2001. Meanwhile, Karzai has gone from being a favorite of Washington under the presidency of George W. Bush, to a thorn in the White House's side with his criticism of American troops' night raids and mounting civilian casualties at the hands of foreign troops.

Pakistan's Army Chief Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and spymaster Zaheerul Islam are the only two from the country who have made it to a list led by US president, Pope Benedict XVI, Angela Merkel, Facebook's founder and other global leaders on Forbes's ranking of the mightiest earthlings. The American magazine placed Kayani on the 28th spot for "controlling nuclear weapons and one of the world's largest standing armies in an unstable country." Kayani had earlier given a statement issued by the public relations wing of the Army that caused a stir in the news. He said: "As a nation, Pakistan is passing through a critical phase. Following Kayani is Inter-Services Intelligence's (ISI) recently inducted chief, Zaheerul Islam.

Hizb ut Tahrir Palestine organized a protest on Tuesday, 20 Muharram 1434 AH, 04 December 2012 near the Representation Russian in Al-Bireh, Ramallah. To protest the actions of the Russian authorities, this includes raids and arrests of Hizb activists in Russia. The presence of dozens of participants and various media were seen. Demonstrators raised a large banner bearing the words "Arbitrary Arrests and Attacks against Members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Russia is the Real Terrorism" in Arabic and Russian.
Letter to the Russian Representative in Ramallah
On the sixth of November of this year 2012, the Russian Authorities continued its widespread assaults against Hizb ut Tahrir Activists in Russia, reaching nearly forty assaults in Moscow and its suburbs. While the number of searches was approximately thirty in Ufa, and as a result of these operations more than sixty Muslims were arrested on suspicion of belonging to Hizb ut Tahrir. Hand grenades and guns were planted on the detainees only to be confiscated by authorities. This is in addition to the house and mosque raids by Russian Authorities further pursuing the wanted activists' wives, mothers, and sisters.
The operations came after the Russian authorities sensed the role of the Hizb and its activities amongst Muslims, through the various activities such as seminars, conferences and media promotions, and the raising of the Islamic banners throughout the regions of Russia especially in predominantly Muslim areas, and the on-going efforts to educate the Muslim community on Islam clarifying the true Islamic culture, including peaceful activities aimed at raising the Muslim population's general awareness of Islam and the need to belong to the Ummah and work for the vital issue of establishing an Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" state which will unite Muslims in one nation under the shade of one Khaleefah.
We came here to expose the acts of the malicious Russian government against our Muslim brothers and sisters and our activists for the world to witness Russia's evil identity, and to emphasize the following:
1. The Russian government's attempt to seize Hizb ut Tahrir failed, Inshallah. Corrupt tactics will neither benefit its attempts, such as planting bombs and guns during raids of detainees in an effort to accuse Hizb ut Tahrir of illegal material means, because the identity of the Hizb and its history is crystal clear. The fact that this political party does not use material means can no longer be denied or blinded by the Russian government. All the previous attempts of the many governments throughout the world are doomed to fail including the Russian government's attempts.
2. The twenty million Muslims in Russia are our brothers, and we are here to assure these Muslims are a part of us and we are a part of them. We are the children of one belief (Aqeedah). There is not a power strong enough on Earth to divide us from the great body of the Ummah.
3. We guarantee you that the activists of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Russia will never abandon their Dawah work and their work for the cause of Muslims, and your efforts to intimidate and eliminate Hizb ut-Tahrir in Russia is doomed to failure, just like your earlier attempts to extract of Islam hearts of Muslims in Russia, the Caucasus and Central Asia have failed.

A large delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Lebanon visited an area in Tripoli where the grieving families of the martyrs killed by Al-Assad have set up a tent for receiving visits of respect for the martyrdom of their children.
Last night a resolution was issued by the United Nations General Assembly declaring Palestine a non-member observer state on its borders maximum up to the 4th of June 1967: "the West Bank and the Gaza Strip." The resolution was celebrated by the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, especially by the Fateh Party, hailed by Mahmoud Abbas and Saeb Arekat as a celebration for Palestine and a historic day. It was endorsed by Hamas in the Gaza Strip as Khalid Meshaal and Ismail Haniyeh felicitated Abbas' effort! That resolution, which eliminates Palestine of 1948 forever as told by Abbas, was regarded by the people as a championed and manifested victory! Had the resolution been imposed on them, we would have said that they are compelled but they pursued it to be issued, humiliating them. Rather the two archenemies, Fateh and Hamas, joined with one another with this evil in which they had never allied on any good in the past! Allah (swt) has truly said:
(( أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَا أَوْ آذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى الْأَبْصَارُ وَلَكِنْ تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِي فِي الصُّدُورِ))
"Have they not travelled through the land, and have they hearts wherewith to understand and ears wherewith to hear? Verily, it is not the eyes that grow blind, but it is the hearts which are in the breasts that grow blind"
Perhaps concepts have upturned; values have reversed with the majority of Palestine being sold cheaply to the Jews, but for a price -- a tiny part of Palestine to be named a Non-Member State on paper. Such an act is being celebrated as wedding instead of being a condolence and a deep painful wound!
May Allah bless the Prince of Poets Shawki who, commenting on what Mustafa Kemal did nearly ninety years ago when he abolished the illuminated Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" and replaced it with the dark secular republic considering that as a victory had said,
"عادَت أَغاني العُرسِ رَجعَ نُواحِ وَنُعيـــتِ بَينَ مَعالِمِ الأَفــراحِ"
"The wedding songs have become the echo of lamentation and the death is announced at the times of weddings"
They take steps as such, celebrate our tragedies, humiliate themselves and pursue to obtain an international legal resolution as the non-member state of Palestine. Is it not the one that was conquered by Omar (may Allah be pleased with him), was liberated by Salahuddin (may Allah's mercy be upon him) and safeguarded by Khalifah Abdul Hamid (may Allah's mercy be upon him)?? As if it is not the same Palestine which they want, rather it is only a fraction. And through this resolution it was done! In order to give access to the traitors of the Ummah portraying this resolution as a victory! America which was behind many of those who voted in favor of resolution showed its opposition to the resolution in order to provide the term "defense" to Abbas and Arekat that they attended the United Nations General Assembly despite the will of America! They know they are liars. If America orders them to sit down, they sit motionless, but America desired an international resolution ending any project except the two-state project being sponsored by the US! Thus the betrayal, deception, and misinformation became mangled together, thereby enabling the way for international resolution to declare the loss of the majority of Palestine to be championed as victory! The Messenger of Allah (saw) in the Hadeeth, narrated by Ibn Majah from Abu Hurayrah, spoke the truth when he (saw) said:
"سَيَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ سَنَوَاتٌ خَدَّاعَاتُ، يُصَدَّقُ فِيهَا الْكَاذِبُ، وَيُكَذَّبُ فِيهَا الصَّادِقُ، وَيُؤْتَمَنُ فِيهَا الْخَائِنُ، وَيُخَوَّنُ فِيهَا الْأَمِينُ، وَيَنْطِقُ فِيهَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ »، قِيلَ: وَمَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ؟ قَالَ: الرَّجُلُ التَّافِهُ فِي أَمْرِ الْعَامَّةِ"
"A time will come upon people when they will employ deceit in everything. At that time the liars will be declared as the Truthful and the Truthful will be condemned as liars. The traitor will be regarded as upright while the upright will be regarded as betrayer; The "Ruwaibadha" will represent (lead) the people." It was asked who the "Ruwaibadha" were? He (saw) said: "They were the incompetent, unscrupulous and insignificant people. They will attend to the important matters pertaining to the public and make decisions."
Nevertheless, we say to these people who wanted to "dwarf" Palestine through international resolutions as well as to those who usurped Turkey from the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" becoming a secular country... we say to all of them that the Khilafah "Caliphate" and Palestine have a great Ummah who will no longer be harmed by its illegitimate sons... The Khilafah "Caliphate" and Palestine have a sincere and faithful party, InshaAllah. Hizb ut Tahrir has vowed, with and alongside the Ummah, to restore these two great aims: to reestablish Khilafah "Caliphate" and liberate Palestine, InshaAllah. As the sincere and truthful Prophet (saw) has given glad tidings of their restoration when he (saw) said, "ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةٌ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّة" "then the Khilafah "Caliphate" will return on the method of Prophethood" as reported by Ahmad and Attayalsi and the Messenger (saw) also said: "لَتُقَاتِلُنَّ الْيَهُودَ، فَلَتَقْتُلُنَّهُمْ" "You will fight against the Jews and you will kill them" reported by Imam Muslim.
(( وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ * بِنَصْرِ اللَّهِ يَنْصُرُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ ))
"And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice * with the help of Allah, He helps whom He wills, and He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful."
