London Conference calls for Zardari to go and a new leadership for Pakistan

London 15th November 2009 - Around one thousand men and women from the Pakistani and Muslim community in Britain gathered in London for a conference titled ‘Save Pakistan from America, Terror and Zardari' organised by the UK branch of Hizb ut-Tahrir, the global Islamic political party.

The audience heard speeches in English and Urdu, saw video presentations and participated in an open and lively question and answer session.

Sajjad Khan, a political analyst with Hizb ut-Tahrir explained America's hostile ‘Af-Pak' strategy and its dangers for the region. He showed the threat to Pakistan from the combined pressures of American drone attacks within Pakistani territory, the Kerry-Lugar bill, US designs on Pakistan nuclear programme and the presence of US security firms such as Dynacorp and Blackwater-Xe (who are widely believed to be adding adding to the city centre bombing now all too familiar in Pakistan). He showed how the Zardari regime was complicit in this, by allowing the US to use bases within Pakistan, providing them with fuel and essential supply lines, agreeing to support the Kerry-Lugar conditions for aid, and allowing the spread of activities by the sinister US security firms. He showed how terror and bombings had only come to Pakistan after 2001, when America achieved a foothold in the region, and argued that sending 30000 troops into South Waziristan would exacerbate growing divisions within Pakistan.

Qasim Ali, from the Pakistan committee of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain addressed the audience with policies that Hizb ut-Tahrir has proposed for some of the complex problems Pakistan faces. He stressed how the policies were all based on sound Islamic principles - the most central of which is a fear of Allah (swt), and not a fear of America. He showed how current politicians like Zardari and Musharraf, who feared America's bullying, had brought harm to Pakistan and Muslims through their weakness and that what was needed was a strong independent minded approach based on Islam. He showed how the first and most central need facing Pakistan was to remove the American foothold in the region, but that this could be achieved most rapidly by denying America its supply lines through Pakistan, which is its lifeline. He said an Islamic Khilafat would expel organisations like Blackwater-Xe and Dynacorp to stop their destructive work, and try to bring reconciliation with all factions within Pakistani society. He argued that a sincere Islamic leader could achieve this where corrupt leaders could not. He said that Pakistan's nuclear assets, which America and India wanted to neutralise, were a vital deterrent to hostile threats. He reminded the audience that other ways - whether by supporting democrats or dictators - or the unacceptable bombings that occurs in cities killing civilians, were all un-Islamic and destructive for the country.

Mushtaq Raja, a Pakistani community leader in London said he supported the work and aims of Hizb ut-Tahrir, whom he had seen speaking out in a peaceful, but firm and consistent way against the American plans for the Muslim world and the corrupt illegitimate regimes which had enslaved Muslims. He urged others to likewise support the Hizb.

Finally, Dr Abdul Wahid, chairman of the executive committee of Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain, called upon the Muslims there to join the growing global movement for Khilafah "Caliphate". He said Hizb ut-Tahrir in Pakistan had been leading the opposition to the American plans which all politicians were supporting. He highlighted the manifesto produced in Urdu and English by Hizb ut-Tahrir in Pakistan, which presented policies and solutions to peoples' problems based on Islam. He said that a movement that spread ideas was unstoppable, as ideas would spread, eventually to the ears of those people who had the real ability to make change. He drew attention to Hizb ut-Tahrir's campaign within the Pakistani community here, and pledged it would continue.

Men and women in the audience spoke in Urdu and English praising the efforts of the organisers and pledged to support their work for the Khilafat for Pakistan, and had detailed and searching questions answered by the panel. The meeting closed with a dua

Zardari's regime collaborates with America in her campaign of explosions and assassinations

Zardari's regime collaborates with America in her campaign of explosions and assassinations

Pakistan has been rocked by a campaign of criminal explosions that have targeted women, children, students, elderly, police and the armed forces, as its armed forces are engaged in the tribal areas of Waziristan. And whilst Muslims around the world enjoyed the blessings of Eid, tens of thousands of Muslims in Waziristan slept under bare skies, in freezing cold, ravaged by hunger. However, contrary to the many claims of the Zardari regime, this campaign of bombings and target killings is orchestrated by America, in order to secure the help of Pakistan's armed forces for its occupation in Afghanistan.

America has always depended on Pakistan's strength, energetic people and capable armed forces to secure its ambitions for the highly strategic Afghanistan, the gateway to Central Asia and its immense energy resources, as well as a major front against America's competitors, China and Russia. When her rival superpower at the time, Soviet Russia, invaded Afghanistan, America depended upon Pakistan's intelligence personnel to lead the Muslims of the tribal areas, most prominently Waziristan, to end Russian occupation finally and decisively. Then, when America itself wanted to invade and occupy Afghanistan, this was only possible because American bombers were launched from Pakistan's airbases, American forces were guided by Pakistan's intelligence and fuelled and fed by Pakistan's logistics capability.

It is today that America is in most dire need for Pakistan's armed forces because she has been completely shaken in Afghanistan, by years of unrelenting attacks launched from the tribal areas. America's own armed forces, which lack in bravery what they possess of sophisticated weapons, have been unable to subdue poorly-armed Muslims from the tribal areas, particularly Waziristan. As for America's European allies, they are calling for decisive withdrawal of their armed forces from Afghanistan, whilst a stunned Obama administration repeatedly debates over sending even more US soldiers.

Adding to its woes in a most fragile situation, America faces unprecedented feelings of opposition within Pakistan's armed forces, feelings which are deeply rooted within the entire Islamic Ummah at this time. In his influential article that was circulated within America's ruling factions in November 2009, called "Defending the Arsenal-In an unstable Pakistan, can nuclear warheads be kept safe?," senior establishment journalist, Seymour M. Hersh said, "But the Taliban overrunning Islamabad is not the only, or even the greatest, concern. The principal fear is mutiny-that extremists inside the Pakistani military might stage a coup ... A senior Obama Administration official brought up Hizb ut-Tahrir, a Sunni organization whose goal is to establish the Caliphate (Khilafa). "They've penetrated the Pakistani military and now have cells in the Army."" Indeed, it is these Islamic feelings that are the cause of unprecedented refusals and resignations related to operations in the tribal areas, from within the armed forces, from the time of Musharraf until now.

So, in order to incite Pakistan's armed forces to fight in Waziristan, America employed lowly tactics to discredit the Muslim resistance. US private military organizations, that supervised explosions and assassinations in Iraq and Afghanistan, now undertake their activities in Pakistan. And US intelligence has infiltrated some elements of the loosely gathered Taleban fighters, enticing some of them to turn their weapons away from the crusader occupying forces and onto their Muslim brothers in the armed forces.

Yet, America's campaign of explosions and assassinations would never have been possible, if it were not for Zardari's regime. Zardari's regime secured offices, arms depots and safe houses for US intelligence and private military organizations, including the Pearl Continental Hotel in Peshawar and the Sahalah Police Training Institute, which is now an ammunition depot for Americans, where even its Pakistani commandant is not allowed to enter specific areas of his own institute. Zardari's regime protects the movements of the Americans as they go about their mischief. As an example, Zardar's regime secured the release of four Americans, who were arrested in Islamabad, carrying weapons and cameras, driving a car with fake number plate, disguised as Afghanis. And Zardari's regime even tries to cover up the existence of the Americans by lying. The Interior Minister, Rahman Malik, emphatically insisted that there is no organization called Blackwater in Pakistan, even though he is fully aware that the new name for Blackwater is Xe Services LLC and it is now operating in Pakistan, thanks to his government.

With America orchestrating a campaign of explosions and assassinations, it is now no surprise that in Peshawar, hundreds of women and children were targeted in the attack on Meena Bazaar, rather than the US private military organizations in Peshawar. Nor is it unexpected that US intelligence in Islamabad are left untouched but the pious Muslim sons and daughters studying at the Shariah Department of the Islamic University are blown to pieces. And with the kuffar at the helm of this chaos, it is to be expected that ulema and army officers are assassinated, whilst US intelligence and mercenaries are free to roam uninterrupted.

As yet another service for America, to incite the Pakistan armed forces to fight on America's behalf, Zardari's regime raises hue and cry about Indian elements infiltrating from Afghanistan into the tribal areas. However, before America's occupation of Afghanistan and installation of its puppet Karzai, India was unable to establish its current significant presence throughout Afghanistan. But Zardari's regime is only interested in enticing the Pakistan armed forces to save America, rather than end Indian mischief. So, this is why the Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, accuses India of involvement on the one hand, but on the other does not add his voice to international demands that America leaves the region, thereby abandoning its agent Karzai, so that the doors can be firmly closed on India's face again.

O Muslims in Pakistan!

This, then, is the full, ugly reality of America's war in Waziristan. Like Soviet Russia and Imperialist Britain before it, America has been shaken to its roots by the hardy, brave Muslims of Waziristan. Abandoned by its allies and with its own soldiers gripped by fear, America turned to the Pakistan armed forces, only to find them unwilling due to their strong Islamic feelings. So, descending to levels that animals would shy from, using bomb blasts and assassinations, America coerced the Pakistani armed forces to fight in a war where killer and killed are both Muslims and tens of thousands of Muslim refugees face death through cold and hunger. And all of this is so that America can dominate over the Muslims of Central and South Asia and command over the vast wealth that this region contains.

As for your rulers, like Musharraf before them, the corrupt, greedy Zardari and his henchmen, rather than mobilizing your strength against the enemy and its evil war, have sided with your enemy. They have given it the very means that make its brutal campaign possible. Serving their kuffar masters, for the sake of worldly gains, these agent rulers are willingly trying to convert a Muslim country, with the seventh largest armed forces in the world and nuclear weapons, abundant blessings and strength, into an abode of chaos and destruction. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

"Have you not seen those who have changed the Blessings of Allah into disbelief and caused their people to dwell in an abode of destruction. Hell, in which they will burn, is an evil abode, indeed!" [Surah Ibraheem 14:28,29]

O Muslims of Pakistan!

It is now high time for us to turn this miserable situation around and confound the enemies and their agents. America must be treated as an enemy state, which has waged war upon the Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan, facilitated India in its aggression and now ignited Fitna and chaos within Pakistan. America's embassy and consulates must be closed. Its intelligence and private military organisations must be expelled. There must be no logistic support, intelligence sharing or army to army contact with American forces. And the war in the tribal areas must be ended, so that our armed forces can be mobilized beyond them to the borders to pressurize the American forces to leave Afghanistan, a bold mobilization which will rally all the Muslims of the world and expose the agents and munafiqeen who ally with the kuffar. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

"Give to the hypocrites the tidings that there is for them a painful torment.  Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of believers, do they seek honour, power and glory with them? Verily, then to Allâh belongs all honour, power and glory". [Surah an-Nisaa 4:138,139]

"O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth" [Surah al Mumtahina 60:1]

And you must know, as your enemies already know, all this is only achievable under the leadership of a sincere Khaleefah, who will govern by all that Allah سبحانه وتعالى. Indeed, be assured, O Muslims, inshaAllah the establishment of the Khilafa in Pakistan will be the starting point for the unification of the entire Muslim Ummah as the most powerful state in the world that will end all American and Indian mischief, rescue our people from chaos and despair and usher in a new era of security, prosperity and strength.

[وَلَيَنْصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ]

"Allah will certainly help those who stand up for Him. Allah is truly All-Powerful, Almighty." [Al-Hajj 22:40]

In response to a cowardly attack on Muslim officers and their families as they prayed Friday prayers on 4 December 2009 in the army city of Rawalpindi, Hizb- ut- Tahrir, Wilayah Pakistan held protests in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. Protestors held banners showing that Obama's new policy is a policy of bombings and target killings, with the willing collaboration of Zardari's government. Protestors condemned Zardari's government which has opened Pakistan to the instigators of flag attacks, bombings and assassinations in Iraq and Afghanistan, the US intelligence and US private military organizations, such as DynCorp and Xe Services LLC, formerly known as Blackwater. They called for the Khilafah "Caliphate" which will unify the Muslims as a single force against the American crusaders.
