January 19, 2024, Hizb ut Tahrir was banned in Britain by a political decision without the shadow of a legal process. The ban was introduced just four days after the British Home Secretary, James Cleverly, declared that he would add Hizb ut Tahrir to the British terror list. This, despite the fact that Hizb ut Tahrir works exclusively politically and intellectually, and has done so for more than 70 years.

Yesterday, Tuesday, January 16, 2024, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that it had bombed terrorist targets in both Syria and Iraqi Kurdistan with ballistic missiles at midnight on Monday, January 15, 2024.
