Last May a number of Pakistani Secret Agency personnel kidnapped Naveed Butt, the Official Spokesperson of Hizb ut Tahrir in Pakistan, in front of his young children who were on their way home from school.

A delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir in Australia visited the Pakistani High Commission in Canberra today to deliver a letter in relation to the abduction of its media spokesperson in Pakistan, Naveed Butt.

On Friday 11 May 2012, the secret intelligence services of Pakistan abducted Naveed Butt, the official spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah of Pakistan. The secret agents, upon instruction by General Kayani, kidnapped Naveed in front of his three children, they dragged and forced him into a car to an unknown destination.
