Naveed Butt's Family Statement 16 July 2012
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Assalam o Alaikum,
Today on 16 July 2012, the government's secret agencies yet again did not comply with court orders to produce Naveed Butt, the official spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir, over two months after his abduction.
We, the immediate family and relatives of Naveed Butt, express our anger at this sorry state of affairs, as we greet Ramadhan without our beloved Naveed. The soil of this Muslim land is irrigated with the blood of those who rose for Islam. It is this spirit which enabled the Muslims to rule this entire region by Islam for hundreds of years, cleansing it from the filth of oppressive kufr role. It is this spirit which led the Muslims to struggle for two hundred years to rid themselves of the British Raj and establish Pakistan in the name of Islam. It is this spirit which drove Naveed and many others like him to call for an end of the American Raj at the hand of the Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashida.
Yet, now, under kufr rule, calling for Islam and its dominance over all Falsehood is a crime in these lands. At each hearing it is becoming more evident that only the Khilafah "Caliphate" will release Naveed from the dungeons of the oppressor rulers, for only the Khilafah "Caliphate" will bring justice.
We declare that the sacrifice of Naveed and the injustice meted out to him has galvanized all those who know him and love him to pursue the cause of Khilafah "Caliphate" with greater resolve. We stand in solidarity with greater firmness with those who are working around the world for Khilafah "Caliphate". We call upon the Muslims of Pakistan to stand with us so that this Ummah once again is elevated by Islam's state, the Khilafah "Caliphate". And on that day the Muslims will rejoice.
"On that Day shall the believers rejoice- With the help of Allah, He helps whom He will, and He is Exalted In Might, Most Merciful."
[Surah Ar-Rum 30: 4-5]
