Hizb ut Tahrir organized a symbolic stand rejecting Obama's visit to Palestine

Wednesday 08 Jumada 1434 AH, corresponding to 20 March 2013, Hizb ut Tahrir/ Palestine in the Gaza Strip organized a symbolic stand rejecting Obama's visit to Palestine. Many joined this protest, condemning Obama's visit to Palestine, from Gaza City, Jabaliya and Khan Yunis, also protesters joined in from the refugee camps of Bureij, Nuseira, Maghazi and central Gaza Strip.

Participants carried banners condemning the visit and U.S. policy towards the Muslim world, especially Palestine. Such included, "You are NOT Welcome Obama: Child Killer!" "America is the Head of Evil: Take them as the Enemy" and "Terrorist America Licenses Muslim Bloodshed with the Excuse of War on Terror".

Engineer Ibrahim Sharif, Member of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Palestine, explained "These symbolic stances express the objection of the Palestinian people of the chief of the leading universal evil nation. All the catastrophes suffered by Muslims are the result of interference Western occupation in our land, all the while with the further support and embracing of the Jewish entity is the example of this."
