On 18 April 2011, Hizb ut-Tahrir  Wilayah Pakistan  held protests against the arrest of dozens of it people at the 17 April 2011. Hizb ut-Tahrir  asks the traitor rulers why Raymond Davis, a confirmed killer of Muslims, was granted VIP treatment in jail and given a get out of jail free card, whilst those who call for Islam and its state the Khilafah "Caliphate" are greeted with baton charges and water cannons and then arrested? Protestors carried placards saying "Traitor ruler! Spring Raymond Davis from jail & arrest the callers for Khilafah "Caliphate""
