In response to the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo re-publishing the cartoons insulting to the Prophet Muhammad (saw) prior to the trial of the accused in the attack that targeted its headquarters in 2015, which resulted in the death of 12 of its employees, and what the editor of the newspaper "Laurent Sorriso" wrote in the opening of the special issue that was issued on Wednesday 26/08/2020, “We will never surrender.” He added, “Now we are republishing the caricatures because it is necessary for us, with the start of the trial of the accused in the attack.” We in the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir renew this page of the global campaign that we launched in 2015 as a defense of the Master of humankind, the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, sallalahu alaihi wasallam, to confirm once again that days are states, the state of falsehood is but an hour, and the state of truth will remain until the rise of the hour. Allah Almighty said,

]يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللَّهُ إِلَّا أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ]

“They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.” [At-Tawba: 32] Al-Muntaqim Al-Aziz said,

  [إِنَّ مَوْعِدَهُمُ الصُّبْحُ أَلَيْسَ الصُّبْحُ بِقَرِيبٍ]

“Indeed, their appointment is [for] the morning. Is not the morning near?” [Hud: 81]

Scandinavia: Charlie Hebdo - What do we do now?

We are, now left standing with a challenging future. There will be more powers to secret services and this case will be used to demonize, dehumanize and attack the "violent extremists", and thereby, for many, Islam itself. This will most likely, lead to more attacks, both verbal and physical, against Muslims and our mosques, and other community centres, which we have already seen several examples on.

Pickets by Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Jordan to support the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him

As part of the campaign "Khilafah "Caliphate" that we want ... Support for the Messenger of Allah", Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Jordan carried out several pickets in a number of the larger mosques in the capital Amman, Zarqa, Rusaifa and Irbid after Friday prayers on 3 Rabii II 1436 AH corresponding to January 23, 2015 CE, where several talks were delivered in support of the Messenger of Allah PBUH. The worshippers shouted Allahu Akbar around these mosques, and demanded the defense of the Prophet of Allah peace be upon him and the practical application of Shariah to establish an Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of the Prophethood. Banners filled the areas calling for the defense of the Prophet PBUH.

Stickers were distributed calling for the defense of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and with the explanation the proper response should be to the insult to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. Alhamdulilah, the pickets were met with acclaimed and mass participation.

Palestine: Aqsa rises to support the Prophet Muhammad
peace be upon him

Outraged crowds rallied against the repeated abuses against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, echoing chants condemning the attackers calling for their punishment. The crowds shouted and called for jihad and the mobilization of armies to avenge the Messenger of Allah, and the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate", which will liberate Palestine and the holy sites and defend the Muslims.

Hizb ut Tahrir / Palestine organized this rally at the Aqsa Mosque after the Friday prayer 03 Rabii' II 1436 AH, corresponding to 23 January 2015 CE, as the Hizb invited all to participate in the rallies after Asr prayer on Saturday in Ramallah and Hebron under the title: "By the Khilafah "Caliphate" and Muslim armies, We support the Messenger of Allah, and protect the Aqeedah and the Holy Sites". A speech was delivered to the massive crowds gathered in the square of the Aqsa Mosque, carrying banners of the Messenger of Allah written "There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah" and condemned the ferocious war waged by the West against Islam and Muslims everywhere, which included the most recent re-published cartoons of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the notorious French "Charlie Hebdo" Magazine.

Indonesia: Massive Demonstration in front of the French Embassy to defend the Prophet of Allah (PBUH)

Hizb ut Tahrir / Indonesia organized a massive demonstration in front of the French embassy in Jakarta, which strongly condemned the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo that published cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family. During a meeting with a delegation of the party representative of the French Embassy, the delegation expressed its condemnation of the French government, which allows for insulting the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The delegation also stressed that the so-called freedom that gave way to these crimes against the Ummah of Islam is pure nonsense. The demonstrators were protesting outside the embassy carried banners with slogans and phrases to support and defend the Prophet of Allah peace be upon him including "The Khilafah "Caliphate" will stop the abuse against the Prophet of Allah, peace be upon him."

At the same level Hizb ut Tahrir / Indonesia held similar marches to defend the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, in major cities across Indonesia, in Surabaya, Makassar, Bandung, Medan, Lampung, and other major cities.
