Yes, We Need a Religious Revolution; But in the Right Direction, Not As the Henchmen of the West Want in Our Lands
(Translated)

On Thursday morning, January 1st 2015 CE, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi said in his speech on the occasion of the celebration of the Prophet's birth, which was organized by the Ministry of Awqaf; directing it to Dr. Ahmad Al-Tayeb the Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar, saying, "You and the preachers are responsible before Allah for the renewal of religious discourse and to correct the image of Islam, and I will hold it against you before Allah." He added, "I'm saying that corpus of texts and ideas that we have sanctified over hundreds of years, to the point that departing from them has become almost impossible, is antagonizing the entire world. It's antagonizing the entire world! To the extent that that 1.6 billion people [Muslims] should want to kill the rest of the world's inhabitants-that is 7 billion-so that they themselves may live? ... because this Ummah is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost-and it is being lost by our own hands."

Emphasizing our need for a religious revolution, and that Al-Azhar scholars cannot feel the danger of this thought from within it, asking them to get out of it and view it and examine it with true enlightened thought, with this dangerous speech, Sisi "clothed as a preacher" has exposed his real face confirming to all his previous statement that were considered then as a slip of the tongue when he said, "anything that is not pleasing to Allah we are with it and will support and aid it."

Sisi directed his speech to a group of Al-Azhar scholars to strike Islam, its texts and Sunnah with all the arrogance and pride. No one responded in outrage for the sake of Allah's Deen and none of them frowned, even for one moment, but instead they were applauding him warmly as if they were playing, and even worse was the announcement by the Minister of Awqaf Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Jummu'ah, on the second day of celebration when he said, "The directives of President Abdal Fattah Al-Sisi to conduct the renewal of religious discourse is of interest and great consideration, both from Dr. Ahmad Al-Tayeb, sheikh Al-Azhar, or from the Ministry of Awqaf and Dar al-Ifta in Egypt", pointing out that all religious institutions received these directives with great interest.

There is no doubt that Sisi did not introduce anything new. His speech content during the ceremony is what the West has echoed for decades and dreams of and recruits its armies in our lands of intellectuals, politicians and agents appointed by them over us after the demolition of the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" state, to turn the Ummah into a herd of sheep being driven to its death with joy happily, and to change Islam to agree with the idea of separation of religion from the state and politics and governance but also from the whole of life, to limit it to a corner or to the mosque as they did to Christianity before. There is great difference between Christianity and Islam, Islam is a comprehensive and complete Deen. It is an intellectual creed from which a system regulating all affairs of life emanates.

Because Islam is stronger than all of them, along with all the devils of mankind and the jinn, their plots will not succeed in harming this great Deen and the adherence of the Ummah to it and upholding it tightly even though those have controlled the Ummah in government and politics for decades, and they spent nights to corrupt education curriculums and tried to mislead the Ummah and to obliterate its identity, and spent billions to hinder (men) from the way of Allah. However, it was heartbreaking for them and soon will be defeated by the permission of Allah (swt), the Ummah is regaining control and is determined to implement Islam and put an end to their deception and those behind them.

[وَالَّذِينَ يَمْكُرُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَكْرُ أُولَئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ]

"But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish" [Fatir: 10]

A man of this Ummah will not see matters in this inverted way, as if he does not see how the Kaffir West piled up against the Ummah and cannot see them slaughtering it from vein to vein in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Burma, Kashmir, Bosnia and Albania from before, and before that the extermination of Muslims in Andalusia and the Inquisition. So Mr. President, is it the Ummah that wants to kill the whole world or is it the one that is exposed to murder and extermination campaigns and mutilation at the hands of a crusader alliance, which made torturing of the Ummah as a target and the elimination of the Islamic Ummah as its dream and wish? Is the Islamic Ummah responsible for the killing of millions of people in the two world wars that exterminated everything and everyone, or is it greedy capitalism and its nations full of animosity and thirsty for the blood of Muslims.

Islam and Muslims are not hostile against the whole world, but they are Dawah carriers of a message of mercy to the mankind,

[وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاك إِلَّا رَحْمَة لِلْعَالَمِينَ]

"And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds" [Al-Anbiya: 107]

They want to bring people out of the darkness into the light, and from the injustice of capitalism to the justice of Islam, and from the narrow world to the wide Dunya and Hereafter,

[قَدْ جَاءَكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَابٌ مُّبِينٌ، يَهْدِي بِهِ اللَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَهُ سُبُلَ السَّلَامِ وَيُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ]

"O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book" [Al-Ma'ida:15]

Perhaps the only thing which President Sisi was right about is his saying that we need a religious revolution, but a revolution that must be in the right direction, not as he wants and the henchmen of the West want in our lands for the domestication of Islam and distorting of its texts to satisfy the West. It is the revolution that purifies Islam and refines it from the erroneous concepts that mixed with it such as the separation of religion from state, and the rotten patriotism and dreadful nationalism; a revolution that will get rid of the control of Islam by some under the name of clerics like priests who do not do anything but drumming and clapping for the ruler and twisting the texts of Islam under the name of renewal of religious discourse.

The near future is for this great Deen. It is alone the haven for the oppressed in the world who were exposed to the sword of greedy capitalism to make them gears in their hell machine that grinds people crushing them in favor of a small group of benefiters and the mercenaries and the owners of capital. It is only a few days, God willing, for the shining sun of the guided Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of Prophethood to fill the world with justice and equity after it is filled with injustice and oppression; and tomorrow to those waiting is close.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ))

"O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered" [Al-Anfal: 24]
