Constitutional Parliament: A Platform for Artists, Sharing Spoils and Elongating the Life of a False Capitalist Ideology

After the Constitution Commission officially handed over the draft Constitution, eventually an announcement was made of 201 appointees of the Constitutional House who will work together with legislators of the Union government and members of the Zanzibar Representative Council to prepare a so-called new constitution for Tanzania. Those appointed are from various institutions including political, social, economic, religious etc.

Following the selection, we in Hizb ut Tahrir / East Africa would like to remind again the following points:

1. Democratic constitutions do not only defy the basic tenets that they are from the narrow and limited mind of human beings instead of from their Creator. They are false documents that defy basics, norms and professional regulations. Since the constitution is a legal document, it means that members of the Constitutional House be lawyers. However, since the democratic system is an artistic, false and criminal system which is irrational, it turns everything upside down. Why is it that when we have doctorial, economic or other documents, it becomes a must that experts in those fields be involved? Surprisingly when it comes to constitutional issues, blindness is noted concerning the matter! Even those who claim to be rights, good governance and human rights activists are dead silent for fear of shaming their false system which is being openly shamed!

2. The Constitutional Parliament just like the other democratic ones the whole world are a platform to share spoils, reward staunch supporters, activists and those in power in a democratic system. They are from political parties, religious institutions, social, intellectual or other institutions. The reward is for a good job in defending the Kufr Capitalist ideology and also to make them sustain in supporting the ideology. In the selection of this parliament, the situation is manifested in two ways: First, the appointees are not lawyers. Second is the hefty allowances given to the appointees to the point that the total amount of an appointee for the more than ninety days of working is more than what a civil servant earns for his whole life. This is without mentioning the deplorable state of the country in provision of social services like education, health, water, housing etc. It is important to note the faces of some who called themselves Muslim activists claiming to fight for Muslim interests in a Kufr constitution. Everyone has openly seen that in the draft constitution, there is no single Muslim right which they were fighting for. Surprisingly, those activists are now among the appointees of the Parliament. This is clear evidence that since the beginning, they were activists for the Kufr constitution whatever maybe. The pretext of ‘Muslim interests' was a cunning guise to hoodwink Muslims.

3. The idea of new a constitution is a strategy to lengthen the life of the Capitalist ideology which is nearing its demise. This is what happened in the sixties to give ‘independence of the flag' after colonialists realized the public was tired and were causing trouble. Thereafter, the same colonial states came with the strategy of multi-partyism after realizing their puppets in one party system were excessive. As of now, since they have realized that a democratic system under multi parties is faltering and the danger facing America of Britain taking over influence, They have forced their agents to come with the idea of constitution change.

In conclusion, Hizb ut Tahrir / East Africa alerts Muslims and non-Muslims that the days of the Capitalist ideology are numbered. Certainly, it is supposed to be in the dustbin of history were it not for their strategies to cunningly entrench themselves and coerce young countries. For non-Muslims, it is time to study and research the alternative ideology which is Islam which is a just system that will save Muslims and mankind in general from the tragedy of Capitalism.
